Appartement avec vue sur Loire

Excellent location directly across the river from the Royal Palace, with great views from the apartment and within walking distance of a buzzing restaurant district. Decor minimalist, a little stark, but modern and clean; well equipped.

The apartment is in the roof space, and so gets very hot in sunny weather - and we were there in one of the heatwaves. There is a portable air-con unit in the bedroom, but very noisy and quite ineffective, so we cooked.

Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en het appartement is slim en efficiënt ingericht, waardoor alle ruimte optimaal wordt benut. De communicatie met de gastvrouw verliep vlot, aangenaam en heel vriendelijk, wat zorgde voor een zorgeloos verblijf van begin tot einde. De privéparkeerplaats was een erg welkom extraatje.

Good river view location to explore town. Modern loft apartment with all the essentials. Great parking and easy access. Would happily use again but not in very hot conditions.

Due to the unusually hot conditions we booked this apartment because it advertised air conditioning Disappointingly, it only had one noisy portable A/c unit (inadequate for the heat) requiring venting out of an open window and with instructions not to move it from the bedroom. When we arrived the apartment was sweltering and could not be cooled down leading to a very uncomfortable night. Had the a/c been effective or not advertised I would have scored the apartment higher.

Het appartement is groot en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het heeft een aparte zitkamer, keuken (met inbouwapparatuur), slaapkamer en badkamer. Het ligt in het centrum van Blois en heel dicht bij de Loire.

Het appartement vinden en er vervolgens ook binnen geraken was voor mij een puzzel die me enigszins deed denken aan een escape room. Als je het eenmaal weet is het best eenvoudig, maar het voor de eerste keer ontdekken was dat niet. De mensen van wie het is heb ik op geen enkel moment gezien. Alles verliep via mail en whatsapp. De eigen parkeerplaats is erg klein en bedekt met grof split. Misschien prima voor auto’s, maar voor mijn motor koos ik toch liever een andere plek om te parkeren. Er was geen ontbijt mogelijk.
