Great overnight stop in Bloir.

Excellent little apartment with nice views over the river. Everything you could need to enjoy your stay is here. Private parking is a bonus. Great host.

Although it was great to have private parking, if you had a larger vehicle you might struggle with access. Being a loft apartment headroom is compromised in a couple of areas and could be a problem if you are tall.

Nice place, poor comms

Cute apartment with good view of the river from skylight ( if you are tall)

Communications re access, especially if arriving after dark . Suggest host specifies (1)that the key box is on inside of parking area behind the post boxes. (2) that the relevant door is at the back of the parking area ( not to the side as it appears to be in one of the pictures with finger pointing to it (3) that the relevant apartment is on the second floor (4) that the key fits the top lock ( it also fits but does not turn the lock in the one below it) and (5) that alternative instructions are given for the return of keys in potentially cold weather when the key box may be frozen closed, as it was with me

Nice property but poor communication from hosts

The apartment was a good size, and we appreciated that it had access to laundry. The kitchen met our needs for making breakfast and hot drinks. The location is close to the town and offers a view of the Loire.

There was a communication issue with the hosts, where we were not sent the access code to get the keys at the agreed-upon time. We tried to contact one of the hosts who had been messaging about the check-in procedures. We tried via Booking, text, calling and WhatsApp and didn't receive a reply for almost two hours. When we contacted the second host, he responded to our WhatsApp message fairly promptly and made sure we had access. We waited about 30 minutes after our check-in time which was 6 pm, and the code was supposed to be sent before 5 pm. When the first host got back to me via Booking, I responded and indicated that we were having trouble accessing the storage area for bikes, and I never received another response during our entire 2-night stay. Although it was a nice property, for those reasons, we would not book another stay here. Once you have access to the facility, the host who manages the Booking account didn't respond to messages, and if you look at previous reviews, this has happened to others as well. The apartment needs more blinds, as there are windows all over and being on the top floor, which makes the apartment very hot during the day.

The location was fantastic, a very pleasant 10 minute walk along the River into the center of the town. While I was only there for the night, it was definitely set up so that you could spend a few days there.

Lots of good things

The location is fine, 15 minutes walk from the historic centre of Blois (on the opposite bank of the Loire). The apartment is light, clean, and modern, nicely decorated & well-equipped - can't think of anything we lacked. There's a reserved parking space in a gated garden, so we had no qualms about the car. We had a comfortable night's sleep, and the WiFi is excellent. All-in-all good value, considering free WiFi and off-road parking.

The property is a little difficult to find (a narrow old street with random house numbering!) but we identified it eventually. We'd expected to be met, but in fact I'd been sent a text with access details - which I hadn't seen because I was driving. So we were hanging around for a while to get in. Not a big deal, really, on a nice day. The apartment is a loft conversion,so access is via a couple of steep flights of stairs; not a problem of course unless you're in your 70s and carrying suitcases (like us). The ceilings are on the low side and sloping - impossible not to be in a loft - which makes accessing power points a bit of a trial if you're less than agile. None of this spoiled our stay.

Rien à redire, séjour très agréable

Appartement très bien équipé et confortable. Vue sur la Loire. Je trouve l’appartement mieux en vrai qu’en photo. On est pas très loin à pied de petites supérettes. Le logement était d’une propreté exemplaire. Il y avait une place de parking gratuite et la possibilité de se garer pas loin gratuitement aussi. Contact avec les propriétaires très agréable.

On entend pas mal le passage des voisins dans les parties communes mais c’est le seul bémol et on peut facilement l'ignorer.

Bel espace et la propreté

N’étant que 2 , nous ne faisions pas fonctionner le lave-vaisselle tous les jours et nous avons dû laver des couverts. On aura apprécié d’avoir le double de couverts.

Séjour au calme et pratique

La propriété est bien placée proche du centre et a une belle place de parking. L’endroit est propre grand et assez lumineux. Très pratique pour un séjour de quelques nuits. L’endroit est calme. Les draps étaient très doux.

Nous étions deux est restions deux nuits il aurait été pratique d’avoir au moins 4 dosettes de café ou 4 sachets de thé. Aussi nous ne dirions pas qu’il s’agit d’une véritable vue Loire. L’on ne voit pas la Loire du canapé. Il s’agit d’un Velux. En effet si l’on ouvre ce velux et se mettons sur la pointe des pieds pour les plus petits nous pouvons voir la Loire l’église et le château.

A refaire...avant notre prochain séjour en Bretagne.

Un bel appartement comme neuf, bien équipé, confortable et à deux pas du centre ville. Un rapport qualité prix très compétitif. Franchement une belle adresse à connaître pour couper un long trajet en deux. Une place de parking numéroté à disposition juste au pied du bâtiment.

Appartement au deuxième étage avec des escaliers assez raides pour y accéder. Un grille pain minimaliste...un peu plus large serait bien.

Séjour Blois

Appartement très agréable avec tout le confort qu'il faut et très bien équipé. Il se situe de l'autre côté de la Loire et du centre ville mais à 15 min à pied. Blois est une ville très charmante et chargée d'histoire et proche des différents châteaux de la région. La communication est très facile avec les propriétaires. Séjour à refaire sans hésitation.

Pour une nuit ok pour plus compliqué si on ne peut pas sortir de la valise les vêtements à suspendre

C’est la 2eme fois. Tout c’est bien passé même si je redis qu’une théière ça manque vraiment et une penderie également Pratique le parking gratuit cependant si vous avez une voiture large attention après la sortie du parking car la rue est très peu large et pour tourner à l’angle de celle-ci en partant les murs en pierre de chaque côté montrent de sérieuses éraflures j’ai une 3008 et je passe juste (avec les rétroviseurs ouverts)

C’est la 2 eme fois que je trouve dommage de faire infuser son sachet de thé ou autre dans une casserole Une théière ça ne coute pas cher !! Je l’avais déjà signalé la 1re fois idem Pas de penderie il faut accrocher ses vêtements sur la barre du vélux pas top ! Pour le vélux 3patères en bas de l’escalier !! Pour suspendre les manteaux pas les vêtements Lorsque je suis arrivée le frigo était à peine froid (2) pas cool de mettre ses courses il faut augmenter de beaucoup ce qui du coup n’est pas économique !!!
