The sound and light proofing were needed to help us survive our jet lag! The room was nice and we had all that we needed in the kitchen. Be aware that there is no A/C if you are visiting in the summer. There is a floor fan provided.

It was over 100 degrees and the room we were assigned did not have an AC. The room was advertised as with AC. However the host quickly put us in another room for 2 out of 3 days which was a big help. Thanks Raquel for your flexibility and kindness. We managed with a fan in the original apartment the last day but it was not as hot which helped. I realize Porto is not supposed to be this hot, but staying without AC in this weather is quite difficult. Suggest investing in a unit.
Host was very communicative and nice. And I give her 10/10 for that. Apartment very centrally located and nice.

Our stay at Almarela Apartments was outstanding! Starting with our great communication with Raquel, she helped us every step of the way. The apartment was centrally located from everywhere we wanted to go in Porto and very secure. Wonderfully large in size, it was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities and even more than we needed! Breakfast was delivered and what a delight! So much delicious food included as if we were in a restaurant! The price of our two night stay was great and we are hoping in the future to stay again and even longer. We would definitely recommend all to stay here and are very grateful to Raquel and the fantastic apartment we got to have our amazing first trip to Porto to stay in!
