It was decent and had enough of everything for a couple nights stay

Property was clean - provided towels/soap,most kitchen utensils. The staff were very responsive when needing help to access the property.

There was an alarm going off in the hallway going up towards our room - it wasn’t a fire alarm and took a few hours for someone to come stop it. Bedding felt a little uncomfortable and would’ve liked a chopping board in the kitchen

Convenient and comfortable stay

Great location for a short walk into town.

Living area window ill fitting so drafty and noisy from the traffic. Very narrow steep stairs to get to the room - difficult to carry luggage etc.

Well located for central derby. Good facilities for self catering.

The sofa was uncomfortable. Noise from the street ( located above a Chinese take away) so noise from delivery drivers and students coming back from nightclubs. No mattress protector feels unhygienic.

Was different from where the key was drawn. I was separated from my other colleagues and found myself in a property positioned next to a restaurant with main door directly on the street. I should have been given the option to decide if I wanted to stay in that sort of environment or not.

Perfect place to stay, but a little complicated arrival procedure.

Incredibly nice-looking property, spotless condition. I came here for a first date with a long distance date, and I partly attribute the property to the fact that we are all the more closer to a relationship (and my charm of course). All beds were perfect, bathroom was lovely with one of the most high-pressure shower/baths I'd seen. A lovely living area with suitable kitchen. I could not fault it. My date agreed too! Deposit was returned 3 days after stay in full. this was a wonderful accommodation.

Getting the key was a bit of a faff. I had to flick between emails and files to get in. And i don't think it said you had to access from Mill Street, as the address says you access from Friar gate. Some streamlining of the arrival process could make this easier. This is a nitpick though, overall stay was a 9.99/10

This unit was off site and so parking was in a different location making it difficult to load and unload car as parking restrictions immediately outside. Bedroom overlooking FriarGate so noise of student coming back from nightclubs.

Pleasant stay if expectations limited in an odd location

Cosy apartment with most kitchen facilities present, central location, minimal noise from neighbouring apartments

Confusing check-in instructions (apartment well away from main block with no sign), no pegs, no cutting board, house staircase very narrow and not cleaned, large deposit required even for returning guests.

The checkin instructions and location were the worst experience I've had with Booking. My apartment was unmarked with a key system I would never have found without assistance. PLEASE include a map diagram.

All fine apart from noisy extractor fan belonging to the Chinese takeaway downstairs.

Everything about the property was fine but the noisy extractor unit for the Chinese takeaway down stairs made it very irritating to relax in the kitchen/living room. If you are a light sleeper you may even struggle to sleep in the bedroom. I stayed in flat no. In Friar Gate Bridge. Also the drains in the bathroom did smell a little.

A great stay

This property was great for what I needed! It was clean and right in the city centre, so it was near various bus stops and a short walk to restaurants and bars. The communication was great and picking up the keys was really easy too. The kitchen had some basic bits and pieces so that I could prepare simple meals myself, which was so useful! Having a private car park was great too.

I hadn’t realised that the Friar Gate Bridge site was separate to the car park (and other apartments) - which was my own fault. If you’re going to be using your car a lot or you’re going to be making a lot of trips because of the luggage you have, I would suggest staying at the Mill Street site instead, however, they really are only a very very short walk away from one another so don’t be discouraged. The walls of the apartments were a bit thin but I can sleep through anything, so this didn’t bother me too much - might be a dealbreaker for others.

Perfect for a short weekend getaway!

Everything was clean and tidy and welcoming. Key collecting was super easy, hosts were very communicative and responsive all the way through. Easy to find and get into. So easy to get into town, as well. Comfortable, lovely and just a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!
