The Wash & Tope

Excellent location. We managed to park in the bays directly opposite which was free all weekend. We loved looking out of our window and seeing the sea. We had tickets to the theatre which is just a few minutes away. The staff were all very friendly and the pub was certainly busy which was great to see. There was a good variety of live music over the BH weekend. Breakfast was very good, you need to order/pay for this the evening before. As well as your cooked breakfast choice cereals, hot drinks, juices and toast are all included to help yourself to so very good value for money. There are a few cosmetics that look like they are in the process of being sorted (round the door frames etc) however the room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable and nice towels which are the main things in our opinion. We would definitely return.

Glad we didn’t book for a weekend as the have live music, I imagine it could get quite noisy.

The staff were so kind and helpful. Perfect location,just a short walk to the shops and beach. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Cooked to perfection ! The bar had a great atmosphere, live music,pool table, and plenty of seating indoors and out. Great value for money. I would highly recommend it for a short stay.

The location

They ask you to write your card details down (long number, exp and cvc) in case of any damage which I wasn’t happy doing as anyone could use them and take money from my account, it wasn’t clean, no mattress protectors on the beds, chipped paint on the walls and ceilings, missing light bulbs. They said it had been re-decorated which it defiantly hasn’t been.
