Dirty and old apartament at 13th floor of a blockhouse, bad smelling bed linnen and horrible host

Nothing that worth mentioning, as our experience with this apartment and the host was horrible. Ironically, kids noticed computers in the room and gaming platforms were warm at the time of our arrival, which proves someone lives there on regular basis, but owner claimed, that was a sign of good will...

First off, the fact that we stayed in an apartment where someone (probably that's Cedric, the owner) lives on daily basis. Don't let yourself fooled by the title of his announcement as it had nothing to do with a renovated apartment. Old doors (especially the front one), cracking floor, bed linnen smelling of other human bodies and cigarettes smoke. As a family with 3 kids who landed to the apartment almost at midnight, had to sleep with windows wide opened and use our own towels to cover the kids over night. Even though our reservation was for two nights, we rushed out early in the morning due to the smell and bad hygiened bathroom. Imagine using public toilets to wash our kids in a park in Lyon and searching for a decent accommodation for the remaining night. At same time, owner, Cedric came up with a ridiculous request of providing evidences of bad smelling bed linnen in order to refund the night we didn't stay. After long debates and complaints, he eventually agreed to refund one night, however that not being complete, as on the invoice he issued, he made up a 60 EUR clean up fee, which was not specified on initial renting conditions made available through Booking. All in all, by all means, avoid renting this apartment as it's obviously not run on good faith, but a smuggler business with no considerations or care for guests. Absolutely disgraceful. Worth mentioning Booking.com did NOTHING to help with this problem, they only intermediating conversation with the host. Beware when booking through the platform.

Well-spec-ed place with helpful host.

Great apartment for a family. Everything you need, and nice to have all the beds separate from the living room. Air conditioning in each room. Very helpful host.

You have to pay careful attention to What's App messages to make sure you understand how to get to the apartment. The information doesn't come through Booking.com messages. I was a bit tired so made it harder than it needed to be. The host was very helpful to st me straight.

Clean apartment with all you need.

Location is good for an overnight stop when travelling via Lyon. Basic but clean and friendly place with all you need.

We had to pick up keys at another place, call beforehand. But it was very close by car to the apartment.

Balcon appréciable exposé à l'est pour le levé du soleil mais le moteur de la climatisation prend beaucoup de place. Pas comme sur la photo

-fehlende Sauberkeit - völligst überfüllte Schränke, kaum Platz für eigene Klamotten, es wirkte, als ob jemand die Wohnung sonst privat bewohnt -auch der Balkon war komplett mit irgendwas zugestellt und somit nicht benutzbar - es hieß zwar Parkplatz ist dabei, wir mussten nach einer langen Anreise in der Nacht mit Baby aber noch eine ganze Weile nach einem Suchen und fanden einen engen in der Ecke mit ein paar Metern fußweg

Appartement super propre ! Superbe vue sur l’horizon, balcon super agréable. La climatisation bien efficace et de quoi changer la literie pendant le séjour et pouvoir faire le ménage aussi. Même de quoi se chausser dans la maison.

L’appartement est nickel, résidence sécurisée mais c’est loin du centre, de la ville, mais ça ça n’a rien à voir avec l’appartement !

Qualité des équipements et appartement cocooning

Nous avons été ravis de l'accueil par Bertine. L'appartement est très bien équipé, décoré avec goût. Matériel en très bon état et de qualité. A 4 minutes de l'aquarium, à quelques pas de parcs, nombreux commerces et restauration. Proche de la gare d'Oullins, très pratique pour rejoindre Lyon en transport en commun. Nous avons apprécié le parking gratuit dans la résidence, qui est fermée, avec accès sécurisé et très propre.

Les filtres de l'application booking indiquent piscine (avec supplément), la piscine n'est pas celle de la résidence, c'est la piscine municipale, elle est donc malheureusement soumise aux horaires de la municipalité ( fermée entre 14h et 16h30, le dimanche après-midi et les jours fériés). Néanmoins de nombreuses autres activités à proximité permettent de s'occuper.

Excellent séjour!

Cédric et sa famille sont des hôtes irréprochables! Accueillants, arrangeants, réactifs et bien organisés. L'appartement est bien équipé, d'une propreté impeccable et les lits sont très confortables. La machine à laver qui fait aussi sèche-linge est super pratique. La vue dégagée est très agréable. Le quartier avec les petits commerces et les transports en commun à deux pas sont vraiment pratiques. J'ai passé un excellent séjour et je reviendrai sans hésiter!

Comme à la maison

L'appartement est très bien équipé. Situé à seulement 2 minutes à pied d'une station de métro, nous avons mis moins de 30 minutes pour atteindre le centre de Lyon. Des ventilateurs ainsi qu'une climatisation portative sont à disposition, ce qui permet de maintenir une température agréable dans le logement. Un grand merci à la mère de Cédric pour la remise des clés, qui s'est faite de manière simple et efficace.
