About this villa rental
Set amongst cypress and olive trees in rolling hills, Casa Davide is a stone farmhouse lovingly converted, it combines a modern interior with traditional Umbrian charm as well as a private 10x5m swimming pool. Beautiful countryside with fabulous walks directly from the villa for the spring and autumn. Within easy distance of Cortona, Perugia, Siena, Florence and many other well-known Umbrian and Tuscan cultural landmarks. Even Rome can be visited in a day by train from Terontola.
Casa Davide has four bedrooms, a large living room and kitchen to accommodate eight people, three bathrooms (two ensuite), two terraces, and two patios. It is surrounded by a large, shady one acre garden and olive trees with stunning views throughout. A modern TV and wifi, a table tennis table, boules and a hammock are all available for your enjoyment.
The villa is close to the Tuscan/ Umbrian border, near the local Italian lakeside town of Passignano where you can rent bikes, eat delicious gelato and visit its many restaurants.

Set in beautiful woodland hills abundant with birdsong, wild flowers and countryside views, we woke every morning to the sound of cuckoos. Great central location for days out in interesting places - add appropriately 20 mins to journey times for winding down or up the hill. The house provided everything we needed. The pool is excellent although the May weather restricted our use. We felt very at home and would book again.

The house is very clean and well equiped. Pool is also very comfortable & with crystal clear water. Fantastic views. The road to the house is somewhat challenging and quite far uphill. If you like rural surroundings, this is a beautiful, quiet place.

Our stay at Casa Davide was one of the best we've had in years.
The house is simply splendid: beautifully renovated and very clean, tastefully decorated, with fresh linens and comfortable bedding.
The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious—the perfect place to host a large gathering.
Each area of the house serves a purpose at different times of the day, whether it’s the shaded terrace with a view for sunset or a spot for an evening drink.
The pool is truly a valuable asset… its surroundings are well laid out, with a lovely pergola shaded by a wisteria, and plenty of lounge chairs. The pool is spacious and deep! It allows for easy diving. It’s very clean and is regularly maintained during the stay.
The house is located a bit away from village life. Only two houses are nearby, but with enough space not to feel too close to the neighbors. The surroundings are quite wild, but in 20 minutes by car, you can reconnect with the comforts of civilization.
The welcome was easy, and communication with Jane was very efficient and pleasant.
We highly recommend Casa Davide to anyone who loves this sublime region and the peace and quiet of this lovely vacation property.
