Loved this place, will stay again for sure!

This was a last minute booking and I am so glad I found this place! Great location for walkers wanting to be a short car journey from major walks. Amenities were great (drying wet boots in the lockers?! 10/10 Loved this!), receptionist was lovely (especially when we got locked out of said lockers!). We stayed in January so not the best weather, can imagine it is lovely in summer. Absolutely reccomend.

Sofa bed was not comfortable for sitting on, kept collapsing in the middle. Pretty standard for a sofa bed, but still not the best. Beds could have been bigger - they were correctly advertised as double, so not really a complaint, but something to bare in mind when booking.

Can't wait to stay again

The location was great. Beautiful building, very clean and classy. The apartment was way better than the photos in the advert showed. I could have moved in there!! Everything we needed in the kitchen, very modern and stylish. We had the one bedroom apartment so no micriwave. Plenty of parking spaces and well light at night. Boot locker and bike wash on site. Close to main road but easy to get out into traffic. Road noise didnt disturb from sleeping. Small play area and cover seating area round the back of car park too.

Bedroom had an ensuite shower and toilet which was fabulous. Only down side would be if more than the two of us were staying there, i.e using the sofa bed in living room, those guests would have had to have walked through the bedroom to get to the toilet/shower.

Dog walker's home away from home

Modern, well-equipped, comfortable, secure apartment AND most importantly, dog-friendly! The block has pupose built facilities to enjoy the outdoors to the full within the Peak District, including dog/boots/bike wash stations and even bike storage - very impressive indeed! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to visit again soon!

Good location for walking. Beautiful looking apartment, missing that touch of quality in places.

Dog washing facility was a bonus after a day of walking.

I feel to call these Luxury is a bit of a statement. The apartments are lovely but my mattress and bedding had stains on them. There was food crumbs left on the chairs and small bits of mould in the corner of the showers. Also quite noisey with a humming that could be heard all night. Nothing major and as stated the apartment its self was lovely but cannot be called Luxury with these issues.

Great potential but bad staying

Easy check in. The morning stuff was nicer.

We made the reservation afternoon for 3 people and we we arrive the room was ready for 2, the sofa bed was not ready no sheet or towel at all. We called and the answer was to wait until the morning or to sleep on a towel. We had to take sheets from another room and fix it by ourselves

Very clean , plenty of free parking, great staff.

The only thing we did not like was the very busy road. Our room was overlooking the busy road. With the weather being so hot we opened the windows to allow some air into the room however the noise from the traffic just did not stop throughout the night it was so so loud it affected our sleep.

Lovely stay, would return

Great location both for driving further afield and local walks and interest. The apartment complex is well thought through for dogs, very organised in general for key collection and nicely stylish. The Cupola next door is very helpful in local maps and knowledge. The apartment was a comfortable temperature.

Our particular apartment was at the front so road noise was quite apparent. Plus the sofa wasn't very comfortable and the kitchen is fine for breakfast/ lunch but so cramped cooking isn't easy.

Was very modern and the beds were comfortable with good parking

The kitchen was not fully equipped, the dishes were dirty, the hob did not work, the coffee machine didn't work properly. I felt the communication from the host was hostile and not welcoming.

Nice enough, just not clean enough for what you'd expect.

It just wasn't clean enough. The oven had been used and not cleaned, same with the microwave (spilt milk etc.) and coffee maker (used pods in the machine, water trap full with coffee dregs) etc. There was hair on the bathroom floor and gross toenail clippings on the balcony. The place itself was fine, everything worked, towels fluffy etc. and the restaurant next door was great. I think they just missed a bunch of stuff cleaning before we arrived.

Good but not great

Apartment was a good size for 2 and in a great location with some good (long) walks on the doorstep. Nice balcony and the restaurant next door was a plus (except it's not open Sunday evenings). General cleanliness e.g. floors, surfaces was good.

Detailed cleaning was poor and I felt like I had to was all of the glasses, mugs, cutlery etc before using it for the first time. A wine glass was cracked but there was no one to report it to, supposedly a concierge was there every day but there was no one there for our entire 4 day stay. The brochure said sky tv was available, but it wasn't there. It could be a great place but needs closer attention to detail.

Lovely stay, Great accommodation, fantastic hosts.

Amazing accomodation. Easy check in. Beautiful setting in a great location. The host was brilliant, helpful and responsive to messages. Highly recommend.

The sofa bed was not comfortable for our daughter (Common in sofa beds). Some guests that arrived on the Friday were quite noisy til late and started again early, not the hosts fault.

Great stay!

Beautiful apartment for our weekend stay. Lovely and clean, the bed was so comfy, and the shower was amazing. The location was good and some lovely places to eat and drink nearby.

Only one negative - for some reason, there was a sewer smell from time to time in the apartment.

Lovely quiet apartments with nice decor throughout building. Good parking. Easy to drive to & from all parts of the Peaks.

Apartment needed a mirror as the only one was in bathroom & not able to use hairdryer in there! Tv unable to get any “normal” channels at all & couldnt use “catch up” either. The only channel available was Netflix which we have an account on. Very disappointing as after a long day’s walk in Peaks just wanted to relax & watch tv.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Clean, great location, had everything we needed in the apartment. Modern homely feel.

With a dog on an upper apartment it would have been good to have some outside space on the grounds to take the dog out. Sofa was not very comfortable to sit on in the evening.

Bed smaller than described

Clean, modern, good touches like coat hooks/shoe rack/boot & dog cleaning facilities. Good location generally & short walk to pub, fish & chips & Indian.

The online description was inaccurate in some respects: - the bed is far from being "large double" (it was 4' or 4'6" maximum); - there was no dishwasher; - the hob was only 2 rings; - there was just one small oven/microwave combined. The kitchen facilities were fine for a short stay, but the bed size was a big disappointment.

Wonderful break in a beautiful place

Easy check in, beautiful interior, gorgeous exterior, fantastic thoughtful touches like boot locker, spaces to clean your dog and bike. Extra thoughtfulness like Cling Wrap in the drawer. Extremely friendly housekeeper Holly, and receptionist on checkout. Highly recommended..

Really minor: There was no dishwashing liquid in the apartment. I wrote a message in the app and within 5 minutes there was a knock on the door, and Holly had brought us a bottle. So not really a 'not like', actually another compliment for their good service. Another small minor thing: the bedroom window didn't seal well, so the road noise was a bit more obvious. We reported it and I'm sure the team will take care of it. They're extremely helpful and friendly.
