Corner Cottage sleeps up to 6 adults + cot and is a superbly spacious accommodation. Ashford in the Water is an ideal base for touring, walking or cycling. Two local pubs, restaurants, shops all within walking distance. Convenient for both Bakewell and Buxton.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Corner Cottage. It is a large cottage situated right at the heart of the village, within walking distance of a number of pubs and restaurants. Bakewell is just a short drive away and it is easy to explore the Peak District from this location. This was our second visit and we would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at the Corner Cottage. It was simply beautiful and charming. It is designed to be a home away from home. Each room was decorated tastefully and very comfortable. The host was terrific and responded quickly to all of our questions. Location is a short walk away from the Bulls Head and the Ashford Arms. Minutes away from Bakewell and perfect for exploring the trails. A terrific cottage for a small group of friends for a long weekend.

Corner cottage was a delightful place to stay, fantastic location for a walking holiday. Chocolate box village, quite beautiful, quaint and traditional. We had a superb short family break, pub short walk away, even though it rained !! Fab !!

A lovely cottage in a beautiful little village. A very good location for exploring the Peak District. The cottage is well equipped with pretty much everything you might need for a stay. There are two great pubs and a village store within a 5-10 minute walk. Bakewell is also nearby.
