Nicely decorated, 2 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet a big plus, beds comfy, kitchen well equipped. Easy to walk into Birmingham. Great communications from the host.

Overall a comfortable stay. In my opinion, some fine tuning needed to create a luxury experience. Low toilet tissue (practically finished) and no available refils. No bath mats in the bathrooms Shower heads need cleaning and tile grout/sealant needs attention. Oven left unclean by previous guest but not checked by cleaning crew.

Towels not enough and small and how you work the tv

The location is excellent and the WiFi was very fast. The smart TV was a nice touch, and having three bathrooms (one ensuite, one regular bathroom and one half bath) was really convenient. There were also sockets by the bed, which was useful. The host was lovely, checked in during the stay, responded quickly to messages, and collecting the keys was easy.

However, the property could really benefit from a deeper clean. The fans were extremely dirty, which didn’t feel great from a health and safety perspective and the floors needed a proper hoover. The radiators were rusty and didn’t look very clean, and there were no bath mats provided. The towels were small, low quality, and left a lot of fluff, with a few showing stains. Light sensitivity may be an issue for some, as outside light comes into the bedroom and there’s also a red light from the electrical shower switch that glows all night. There was also a dripping noise from upstairs during the night. Overall, it’s a practical place in a great location, but it’s not particularly luxurious (as it's advertised) and would benefit from some improvements.
