A scam. Booking.com , be better

Messaged me 2 days before the booking to ask for a £250 deposit to be paid into a personal bank account. No mention of this anywhere on booking.com prior to booking. We cancelled and they still have my money we originally paid cor the room. Also said they were going to send an uber driver with the keys for the property when we arrived. Not a safe way to check in.

Great for city access and good value for money.

Clean and airy property. We picked it due to having parking included which was very good and exactly what we needed for our stay which was only one night. The place has two bathrooms so with four of us getting ready to go out it was ideal Very close to the city centre but far enough out to be quiet overnight. Everything seemed well maintained and the beds were very comfortable. The living space is bright and the sofas seemed new. The TV does need an aerial cable whether ‘part of the contract’ or not but worked with the internet

Whilst the communication was all pleasant I felt that it was overly complicated. We had to supply a £250 bank transfer as a deposit (which in fairness we got back very quickly after departure) but in booking many properties over the years, this is the first time I have had to put such a deposit down. We also had to give a time for arrival so an Uber driver could hand us the keys. This put extra pressure on the arrival given how bad the traffic is in Birmingham. I was told that the driver would only wait 15 minutes and it added to the stress of the day even though the guy with keys turned out to be the owner’s family. He was a nice guy though and very helpful.

The 10am checkout was a bit early compared to the usual 11am, a slightly later time would be appreciated.

Good location well presented and comfy beds, check in was easy and full instructions given for everything

Curtains in bedroom did not block out any light which disturbed sleep. Also quite a high deposit with a lot of rules i.e. cleaning and taking bins out but was refunded very quickly

The space available was incredible, both rooms were spacious and tidy, the living areas were also very big! The location was about 5 mins walk from the centre honestly can fault anything with this listing!

Nice aprtment near to chinatown for nightlife

Keys delieverd by an Uber driver who unlocked the unit for us and explained checkout. Nice and close to the O2 arena and Chinatown . Apartment was clean, tidy and well kept.

No tv, beds were terrible and we was charged £25 for an already broken soap dish worth about £5. Very disappointed and no feedback when I complained about it.

Perfect in every way

The owner was very helpful and very polite, went above and beyond to make us comfortable , the apartment was just perfect and the beds were just lovely, the best pillows we have ever put our head's on.

We liked everything about the whole process, from start to finish he could not have helped anymore
