    Hotel is family owned. Good place to stay around Paddington. Hotel doesn’t have air conditioning so it’s a challenge for a very hot summer. FYI there’s no elevator in the building.

    While the hotel is very affordable for the location, the place itself, while being given a new paintjob, needed renovating. For example, the lock on my window had a small piece of wood to extending the lactch off the frame. Dirt marks along the walls were so bad I cleaned them myself in the concern I may not get my deposit back. The room was tiny but cosy and comfortable even in the heatwave but it had a shower in the corner and sink next to it, but there was more room for the loo to be included, if it wasn't in a separate room to share with others on my floor. I thought that was odd. But realised the rooms were chopped into small bits to get more rooms and the toilet room to share would be the offset. Staff were pleasant. WEIRD thing - EVERY time you left the hotel you had to give your room key back to reception. Apparently, this was for safeguarding: if there was a fire, they could use the key to check whether you're in your room or not; this was even opposed to the fact that they already have spare keys for all the rooms. So, like a grown up, I felt like a kid at home not allowed my own PAID FOR key! I won't stay again.

    This Hotel room was in the basement, the walls and floors are pretty thin, the neighbour's shower you could hear, their talks you cud hear, the shower above you could hear. The people walking above you cud hear. The bags moving over your head you could hear. I spend 3 wonderful days in a peaceful hostel hear wanted something close to the station for last day . The room was clean and equipped but they're was just too much noise!!! After a point i could no longer understand what i am hearing...it wud not stop!. It was terrible. I really felt like going up and punching someone . Pathetic experience . They provide no drinking water. Hope to get some sleep thry the night!! God bless me. Also you need to give 100 pounds as deposit ..I wonder what cud be the reversal for these noises!
