Extremely Unprofessional and Disturbing Experience - Avoid This Place

I recently stayed at this property for 3 nights with my wife, and our experience was nothing short of disturbing and unsettling. On the second day of our stay, around 12:00 or 12:30 PM, my wife and I were still in bed as she wasn’t feeling well, and we had planned to stay in a bit longer. Without any prior notice or communication, the landlord knocked on our door. When I asked what was wrong, he insisted that I open the door immediately but didn’t explain why. When I declined, he repeated his request, stating it was an "emergency." I asked him what the emergency was, and he finally mentioned there was 20 centimeters of floodwater on the floor above us, and they needed to check our room for any damage. Although I was willing to check for any water damage myself, he insisted on entering our room, even though I felt it was not an appropriate time, especially with my wife not feeling well and both of us still in bed. I made it clear that I was not comfortable opening the door at that moment. His behavior became increasingly aggressive, and he even accused us of having three tenants in the room, which was a complete lie—we had only booked for two people. I repeatedly told him I was not going to open the door and explained that my wife and I were in bed, I wasn’t properly dressed, and we hadn’t been given prior notice about the situation. At this point, I became extremely concerned for our safety, so I warned him that I would call the police if he didn’t stop knocking. He then left, but before doing so, he asked if I could confirm that I wouldn’t open the door, which I refused to do. I was still very uncomfortable, and I felt my privacy and safety were completely disregarded. Although he was calmer after this exchange, the fact remains that I felt extremely unsafe during this entire ordeal. I came very close to calling the police, and I honestly would never, ever recommend anyone stay at this property.

Great place to stay for an affordable trip to Paris

Lovely little place in a great location. The host was super friendly and helpful when messaging him, he even made us some home made crepes! It is a shared living space/bathroom but it felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time which was nice. Everything was really clean and the whole time there felt homely! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and nice place to stay.

Awesome host and location in a shared apartment

Sebastian was very good at making you fell like home. He also provides some free food for travelers. The location was awesome, very near the metro, with good connections with de city center

The sheets weren't as comfortable as I expected, they were not very well dried, as they seemed to be humid. Also note you will share the house (bathroom, dinning room, kitchen) with other people, which is not very clearly indicated in the reservation. You may need to wait for some one else to use this spaces before you do.

Really lovely place, Sebastien and his father were very friendly, informative and helpful. It was really well connected - so close to the tube/underground train. Took us barely any time to get to main attractions. It was very clean and I couldn't hear other guests at all.

I somehow missed that it was a shared bathroom situation. This made me a little uncomfortable as I was with my teenage daughter. That being said, the bathroom was SO clean and it was not weird at all to share a bathroom with other guests.

A great location, with good access to the metro and other public transportation, to the Stade de France. Clean nice room

There are many things that I really liked about this place, so I will write them down and number them to make this review useful. 1. My friend and I went to Paris for a concert at the Stade de France, and this place has a great location. Literally 5 minutes to Garibaldi metro station and other ground public transportation stops,. Lidl and Monoprix are also close by. It took us about half an hour to get to the center and about 15 minutes to get to the Stade de France. 2. The communication with Sebastien, the owner of the complex, was also great. On the 1st day of our arrival, we wanted to check in a little earlier than 15:00 because we had a planned exhibition to the Louvre, and Sebastien politely allowed us to check in early and had the room ready for our arrival. 3. Every morning Sebastian prepared us toast, waffles and other free breakfast items to try in the shared kitchen and it was delicious. 4. Rooms and bathroom are clean, well maintained. Thank you very much to the cleaners for their work. 5. Many people mistakenly think this place is a full-fledged hotel, but I would say it's more like a dorm. You live in separate rooms, but the living room, two restrooms and kitchen are shared with everyone who lives on the floor with you. And for me and my friend, it was an advantage. Since we came to the concert, many of the people who lived with us on the floor also came to the concert and we had the opportunity to meet and talk to fans from different countries and make new friends. So if you like to meet new people, or you need something close to the metro or stadium for a concert, for a good price with a great room with shops nearby, this is the place for you, because it's really great.

Great stay to explore Paris

The host was super helpful and friendly. Room was nice and spacious and there’s a shared space where you can eat or play some games on the couch. Breakfast was homemade and he even made sure we had some dinner when we arrived. A big recommendation if you’re looking for a stay in a clean apartment on walking distance of the metro.

It seemed like a hostel. I was not expecting. Also, we do not communicate via what's app. With a hotel unless agreed via booking. I was very suspicious of the contact. Also it was not clear to me on bookingit was a shared apartment with three other rooms.

Liebevolle und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft in Paris

Liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft mit vier Gästezimmern (Dusche und Waschbecken im Zimmer, Toilette geteilt). Es gibt einen schönen Aufenthaltsraum mit großem Esstisch und Sofa, sowie eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, die zum Kochen einlädt. Zimmer und Sanitäranlagen sind neu und haben einen sehr guten Standard. Der Gastgeber ist aufmerksam und steht mit Tipps zur Umgebung jederzeit zur Verfügung - Crèpes als Willkommensgruß und gratis Tee/Kaffee haben den Aufenthalt zu etwas besonderem gemacht und für eine persönliche Note gesorgt! Absolute Empfehlung :)

Nada grato y que no volvería a repetir

Creo que nada fue de mi agrado, ya que la foto que está presentada en la publicidad no coincidía con lo encontrado. Del mismo modo no sabía que viviría en comunidad. Razón por lo cual debe ser bien recalcado en la publicidad, para los futuros usuarios.

Que sin saberlo me obligaron a convivir en comunidad. A esperar que se desocupara un baño para poder hacer mis necesidades.

Gemütlich, sauber und alles, was man braucht

Eine gemütlich eingerichtete Unterkunft mit eigener Dusche und Waschbecken pro Raum. Ein sehr freundlicher Eigentümer. Bequeme Betten, und die Regeln zur Einhaltung der Sauberkeit haben mir auch sehr gefallen. Die Küche ist im Vergleich zu anderen Airbnb Küchen sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung wurde frisch renoviert. Die Lage ist auch super, da die Metro Station Garibaldi quasi um die Ecke liegt. Wir waren wunschlos glücklich.

In der zweiten Nacht gingen aus irgeneinem Grund die Heizung nicht.

Lo que mas me gustó, la atencion de Sebastian por WhatsApp y las indicaciones, un 10 en la limpieza, la habitación era comoda, la cama grande y almohadas comodas, el trato justo, por las mañanas nos dejaban para prepararnos café, té, tortitas, cereales, zumo .... bien ubicado. El metro está a 200 metros y en 20 minutos estas en cualquier sitio del centro de paris, hay supermercados cerca, bares para comer, bares de copas, pastelerias....todo a pie de calle, el sitio es estupendo y volvería a hospedarme sin duda

Al ser un piso compartido es normal que los demás huéspedes hagan un poco de ruido al salir y entrar de las habitaciones, ir al baño y demás, pero es lo normal, nuestra estancia a sido estupenda

Genial.

La habitación estaba muy cuidada y tenía buen tamaño, además contaba con ducha, lavabo y secador de pelo. La cocina estaba totalmente equipada. Todo el piso estaba muy limpio. El anfitrión es muy atento y detallista ; todos los días nos dejaba algún dulce, pan, cereales, café y zumo para desayunar. La ubicación aunque está algo alejada del centro de París tiene muy cerca dos estaciones de metro. En el barrio tiendas, restaurantes y supermercados.

Leider war es sehr sehr heiß und da wir ein Zimmer an der Straße hatten und kaum lüften konnten wegen Lärm war es nachts sehr heiß und laut.

Ottima sistemazione

Abbiamo soggiornato per qualche giorno e ci siamo trovate benissimo! L'appartamento è ben raggiungibile in metropolitana, in una zona tranquilla con supermercati e bar. Anche avendo la finestra che dava sulla strada non abbiamo avuto problemi. Tutti gli ambienti sono puliti e accoglienti, ci siamo sentite a casa, e anche la condivisione del bagno con un'altra stanza tutto sommato è andata bene... In casa c'è spazio per tutti, basta comunicare e rispettarsi. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili nel rispondere alle nostre richieste, e spesso lasciavano una colazione fatta in casa a disposizione degli ospiti. Assolutamente consigliato!

Lokal Wohnen

Die Wohnung ist schön und lässt einen wie ein Anwohner fühlen. Der Host ist nett, wir haben ihn wenig gesehen, was ja nicht stört. Unser Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und das Bett bequem. Die Zimmer sind verschieden ausgestattet- unseres ist quasi 'nur' ein Zimmer & man nutzt das große Bad der Wohnung, gemeinsam mit einem anderen Zimmer. Für uns war das gar kein Problem, alles ist super sauber und ordentlich, der host hat öfter Frühstück vorbei gebracht & wir haben im Wohnzimmer gegessen. Die ganze Wohnung vereint Moderne mit Pariser schick, das Viertel ist freundlich und sehr französische Vorstadt. Ob ich mich als alleine Reisende Frau dort abends super wohl gefühlt hätte weiß ich nicht, aber zu zweit war das gar kein Problem. Direkt an der Ecke ist eine bar, wo wir gerne am Abend noch etwas getrunken haben. :) Ich kann die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der etwas vergleichsweise preiswertes sucht und selbstständiger Urlauber ist. Die Anbindung mit der Metro ist einfach und auch lokal ist sowohl Supermarkt als auch Verpflegung und eine sehr gute Artisan Boulangerie.

Een aanrader voor verblijf in Saint-Ouen, Parijs.

De sfeer was erg vriendelijk en huiselijk. We kregen elke dag per app een berichtje dat er iets lekkers voor ons klaar stond. Verschillende homemade gerechten voor het ontbijt, of een lekker stuk taart. Echt verrassend. De locatie is prima. Gezellige buurt, met cafés, restaurants en winkeltjes voor het uitkiezen.

Ik had het achteraf niet goed gelezen, maar het toilet was op de gang en niet op de kamer. Dat was even wennen.
