For sure the apartment looked nice on pictures and it was good for 2 families. The host was kind and responded fast.

Too be honest, it was disappointing. The key pickup is in a location away from the apartment. Not convenient at all after travelling and having to pick it up in a busy street where you can barely park. The people in the store also barely spoke English. All communication was in French which is very annoying since you received a lot of instructions. The apartment was in a basement which made for a very humidity smell and fungus around the windows. It was very dirty. You could clearly see that the cleaning did not happen very great. We did not feel very comfortable sitting anywhere or laying in the beds. In the house there was a map with all instructions. All in French.... We did some shopping to cook at night. It turned out that the cooking plate was not functioning. And no descriptions on how to use the oven. It was also made very clear that you could not make a lot of sounds. Not described very kindly but I guess they had bad experiences. Kitchen towels did not dry at all and were stinking of food. Bathroom towels were old and also did not smell very fresh. TV did not work, only internet items could be used but then you had to log in. Then on the morning that you leave you have to bring back the keys again in that inconvenient spot. I really wanted to like this house but it for sure did not meet the expectations. I will not recommend this to others unfortunately but again Marjolaine was kind.

Great spacious apartment in Lille

Super spacious, great amenities & close to everything in Lille & a short walk from everything else you could need!

The car park was flooded when we got there, unavoidable but would have been good to be informed.

Prettt apartment but DAMP. Nice location though

The property was quite spacious and the location was amazing! Everything was nearby.

The parking at -4 floor was quite challenging to drive to and the owner only told us the night before that it was accessible only for small cars. Luckily we had a small car. When we got down to -4 it was flooded. We had to make a u-turn in the water and then the car was slipping when driving up. The owner wasn’t responsive to phone calls and WhatsApp and only responded hours later after we had booked city parking about 20 mins away (walking). They did offer to get us paid parking nearby but didn’t respond to us saying we already reserved and paid for parking so they could just pay us back. That started the trip on a bad note. Although it’s not their fault the basement parking was flooded; they should have actually known and also treated it like a priority once we brought it to their attention. The most major reason why I wouldn’t stay there again -> the apartment was DAMP. The carpets in the main bedroom was damp, the bedding, it smelt of damp and the doctor inside me was really scared there could be mould underneath. After a day away, our PJs were damp too. Ventilation was almost non-existent. Also only two rolls of toilet paper for six people for four days -> a little less.

locatie was prima.. goed gelegen, goed bereikbaar.

Hygiene; stoffig. toilet bleef doorlopen en er was een constante vieze kelderlucht. Het was niet schoon; er stond nog een aangebroken fles water naast het bed. Er lag nog lipgloss naast het bed van de vorige gebruiker. de parkeergarage kon ik niet gebruiken vanwege de steile helling; auto liep vast op de bodem. Ik heb vervolgens voor 80 euro in de gemeentelijke parkeergarage moeten parkeren.

alles dus. geen parkeerplaats in de buurt en er niet geslapen omdat we niet wisten welk appartement het was. geen uitleg in een gebouw met heel veel voordeuren zonder namen. na midden in de nacht 5 deuren geprobeerd te hebben met risico mensen bang te maken ermee gestopt en in het novotel geslapen.

Het proces van sleutel ophalen en terugbrengen is tijdrovend en vervelend als je, als buitenlandse zakelijke reiziger, weinig tijd hebt. Als je hier voor een vakantie of voor een paar dagen boekt is dat natuurlijk minder een probleem.
