The property was in a really good location - We stayed as we were visiting Chester Zoo, along with an afternoon in Chester. The hosts were really responsive to messages responding within an hour

Lovely little break away with my family. The donkeys and horses were very friendly and we enjoyed going to see them everyday.
We were surprised to be met by 3 donkeys!
The Lodge itself was very cosy and had all the facilities needed.
Overall, we would recommend - lovely quiet location too!

Beautiful lodge in a nice secluded location. Perfect for accessing Chester without being in the city. Great base for cycling

Lovely little house with everything you would need for a family stay
It was well supplied. The only thing I might have liked would have been a bread knife and a chopping board, but I wouldn't complain because the kitchen was very functional, and I was able to cook meals.
