Excellent location in central Ambleside and yet surprisingly quiet. Pleasant terrace to sit out on and see the fells. Spacious, light, airy property.

I would readily rate this property at a higher score if a few glitches could be fixed, it felt a little neglected and in need of some TLC: for example, the kitchen hot water tap was almost impossible to switch off, kitchen clock needs batteries, broken utensils (e.g. scissors), no bath mat, a slip mat in shower would be helpful, coffee stains on living room floor. I could continue.....

Very spacious accomodation, amazing place really and would definitely stay there again. Amazing location in Ambleside, really in the thick of the action but really peaceful as the property is set back.

I feel parts of the accommodation could have been a bit cleaner and certain fixtures and fittings could do with a bit of a refresh. The freezer seemed to be locked shut and unusable which would have been handy for us. Just a bit of a refresh and a bit more attention on cleanliness would make this a 10. But this wouldnt prevent us from staying again.

Very good location , .good range of facilities . Lovely shared terrace to enjoy a coffee/glass of wine . Great walks on the doorstep .

Lovely cottage could benefit from a little TLC . Listing stated private parking however parking is in a public car park and makes loading unloading the car cumbersome . Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues given the number of steps up to the cottage .

The location was close to everything and it was quiet. It was also close to the parking.
