Great location. Very cosy everything you need
There was noise from the bar across the road it didn’t bother us but can see it might bother some people

Very clean. Nice towels. Well equipped. Great location for bus, pubs etc
Uncomfortable beds.
Very noisy neighbours from The Lilly, stretching into the early hours of Saturday and Sunday morning (3am!!)

Location was convenient and the flat was spacious and the kitchen was very well appointed. Very comfortable lounge area TV/wifi worked well
Dragging suitcases up over 30 steps to get up to the flat. Single glazing meant the noise from the pub opposite was very apparent in the evenings even in October with the windows closed. Getting in and out of the parking space was a challenge

The apartment was in a convenient, central location in the town. It was perfect for going out in the evening for food and drinks. The free parking space right outside was a blessing given the non-stop rain we experienced. The kitchen had everything you could need in terms of appliances and utensils. (We saw one review saying there was no cutlery, but there was a concealed drawer at the top of one cupboard) The accommodation was comfortable and clean. There was an airer that could be used to dry wet clothes and a tray near the door for wet boots. It was also handy to collect and return the keys at the property itself.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient.
The apartment wasn't clean when we arrived. The property management service didn't know this, and they were hard to reach. Their self-service Whatsapp is a joke; they respond the following day. We finally had a cleaner come at 6pm, and by that time the one and only key had broken off in the door. We tried calling the after-hours help line, to no avail. Fortunately the cleaner had another phone number and a key repair person showed.
Unreliable wifi. It cuts out fully, randomly, and frequently. Tried reaching out to management over Whatsapp: 22 hour response time 😆
Flickering lights, no soap in one of the bathrooms, no kitchen dish liquid. One shower doesn't get hot. Lots of street noise if you open the windows.
When you book, the rental service starts sending you a huge number of messages over Booking and directly to your email. Many are repeat information. They offered three different support phone numbers, only one of which works. These guys are so disorganized, it hurts.

Generally very well presented accomodation. Good central location. Interesting architecture. Love the corner bay window seat in living room. Great new kitchen/diner. Brilliant night sky view from en suite velux!
Double bedroom door wouldn't open from inside. Guest was VERY ALARMED. Called for help and door was shoved open from corridor. Other door furniture in property poorly fitted. Lamp not working in this room. Socket in kitchen not working. DVD player not working. BBC Box failed to boot up (quite tech savvy people)PAT test labels ambiguous, test date "Mary" (what?) Loose floor tiles in en suite. Noise from smokers and people leaving pub. Worst at midnight when it closed. Driving directions could include "alley on left between bike shop and launderette".

spacious, easy to get to the local amenities
only one small bath towel each for the week, very noisy at night til the early hours ie shouting and screaming from the pub, lots of steps to get into the property not easy parking,

great location and beautifully decorated and furnished
9am check out too early. No shops/cafes open until 9.30-10am. Would make a huge difference if check out was 10am which is pretty normal
No essentials at all provided. In times of post Covid hand soap at each sink was a minimum expectation
Towels provided were super small and very starchy/rough

Good despite thee noise from the pub and of course the bad language
Instruction on how to find the hidden cutlery drawer

well equipped property and good sized bedrooms
single glazing meant a lot of condensation dripping from the sills, peeling paint in some rooms, mattress on the main bed was uncomfortable. While central location in Ambleside is good, I would not recommend this property unless you’re fine with not getting to sleep until after 1am due to the noise from The Lily. With this in mind a 9am check out is unreasonable. Access to parking is very tight. It is a shame because the apartment itself is very nice but wouldn’t stay here again

Very central, lots of space nice and airy, very well equipped kitchen.
The metal stairs into the property. I have a bad ankle and struggled a-bit with the external stairs.
