Kelsick Heights

Kelsick Heights was a real surprise. Spacious and well equipped the property was a delight to return to after long days and long walks. The parking below the accommodation was also very convenient. A really convenient central location to explore Ambleside and also the surrounds. The washing machine and dryer is a big help.

These are purely niggles and in no way detracted from our stay. There was very little by way of basics compared to other places (sugar, teabags, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets) so bring your own in advance. We had a dripping bath tap and the lounge door has loosened from the door frame and got stuck in the frame. The WiFi code is not easy to decipher. Top tip: remove the card from back of router and note the WiFi SSID, connect and then go to the pin board in kitchen and input the password.

The styling and furnishings were excellent quality. Very tastefully done. Clean modern in all rooms. Kitchen well equipped. Great having a parking space and in central Ambleside. I think apartment nicer in real life than the pictures we had seen so exceeded our expectations

Being an older property downside is single glazing so a bit noisy. Not too bad staying during the week but would imagine noisy on a Friday and Saturday where the bar opposite has live music.

Superb property. Tremendous location and was like the Tardis. The rooms kept coming and coming. Excellent value for money. Already recommended it to other friends.
