La Casa di Abe - Cuneo

I really enjoyed my stay at La Casa di Abe, a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the green surroundings. I was delighted to be welcomed by the owners, who handled the keys and explained everything about the facilities. They live upstairs but are very discreet. They were also very responsive to any questions. Inside, you’ll find everything you need — come a casa. It’s clean and the neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. I found the area quiet and safe, even at night, as a solo and car-free traveller. Just at the end of the street, there’s an entrance to Parco Fluviale Gesso, at Ponte Giuseppe Vassallo. Although the house is not in the city centre, it is still easily reachable on foot, as is the train station (around 20 minutes).

I really can’t think of anything negative. I hadn’t noticed that there was no Wi-Fi — my mistake, but in the end being a little away from the city and having fewer reasons to stay online was actually part of the charm. You’re definitely not cut off from the world with the TV to relax and immerse yourself in Italian culture!
