Weymouth Bay Haven, Preston Road

The property was lovely and clean and easy to get into very cool at night after a lovely sunny day, it had everything we needed it was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay again, the hosts where amazing and very quick at responding if we needed anything and very friendly.

Where the site was. Local bus stop. Easy walk to the beach.

Bedside lights not working. Bottom shelf in fridge broken and fell off. Shower control on right hand side hard to use.

The surfaces were mostly cleaned and the owner kindly agreed to send someone to clean the carpet and the floor when we asked. Nice location close to the beach

I want to leave an honest and clear review so, customers can have a good idea of what to expect before booking it. The caravan smell of old, stale and mouldy. I really suggest to wash/ clean the carpet and sofa cushions the at least once in a while. Not a problem if is just your house but this can be a problem if you rent this property on Booking.com. We asked for a cot and the owner told us there were two under the bed. Unfortunately these were unusable, and with dust and bits of food that who knows for how long have been there. In one of the twin room that we had to use to let our child sleep, there were bits of biscuits and a plastic bottle on the carpet. This means wasn't cleaned after the previous guest has left. There are blankets in each room that smell of dirty and where actually dirties. We had to wash to of these to use. Wardrobe was full with pillows so we couldn't use it. Also the pillows were with mold. Curtain were dirty, bed light were sticky and dusty. All the air vent were full of dust. The cushions for the outside sofa were all stained and patchy and igienically not usable. Outside the caravan issues, the location was mostly ok and close to the beach. However, you can ear every noise day and night. Including when they cut the grass at 2 pm or picking up the rubbish, or the tractor collecting the gas cylinder at 3 pm.
