El comedor bien decorado

No estaba muy limpio, las almohadas muy incómodas, en las fotos de la web aparecía un kit de bienvenida con cápsulas de café, una botella de zumo, etc y no había nada. Ni siquiera gel para lavarse las manos. Faltaba limpieza y más de un detalle.

Appartamento luminoso, a due passi da una delle entrate del grandissimo centro commerciale Val d'Europe, a due passi da Disneyland. Ha tutto l'occorrente per cucinare.

La doccia troppo stretta anche se nell'altro bagno c'è la vasca da bagno. La lavatrice che si vede nelle foto in realtà non c'è.

Very convenient to transportation, amenities were good.

With 2 kids, we needed a few more towels.

A nice house in a quiet area. Spacious and clean. Good communication by the host. Easy to check in. Nice and contemporary minimalistic decoration.

Had the host put in a bit more effort it would have been a top rating, but I found it pretty disappointing to have to make a dash to get toilet paper before the mini store a 10 minute jog away closed (single dad, 3 kids and 14 hours of traveling/exploring behind us, not exactly what I had in mind). The beds were comfy but the pillows were more like decorative pillows in cases. A table cloth and a rack (pretty basic) for the utensils would have made kitchen duties easier. There was a coffee machine but no pods or even instant coffee, and the kitchen was quite sparingly equipped. The shower curtain was fitted too low so I ended up standing on it, the freezer compartment door kept falling off because someone had attached the hinge with what seemed to be the wrong type of screw. Only 10 minutes of work for the host to fix the above. Also I'm not too impressed by the electrical outlet right next to the kitchen sink (with a detachable shower-style tap), which was missing it's cover. I would imagine that an outlet that close to water would require some sort of IP-classification which is obviously void with the cover missing. The supermarket within walking distance had pretty limited supplies, I managed to find groceries for a few improvised meals but nothing extraordinary. I got woken up at 6am from pretty loud popping noises from the central heating. I guess it's normal in these kind of buildings (although this can be solved too with tech solutions) and I don't hold it against the host, but it still happened. I guess this is a spring/autumn issue only. So all in all, well yes the place got the job done but spending just an hour at IKEA and 1/4th of the earnings from our stay the host could have made the experience top notch. The next time I'll choose something cheaper a bit further away, the still required bolt/uber was surprisingly affordable in the area in general and the minimum fare got you quite far.
