What an incredible place to stay! The pool and its view are unbelievable, and the view from the cottage was perfect too (especially for sunsets)! It's in the perfect spot for exploring the western end of the island, with lots of different things to do. Bobby was the perfect host - so quick to respond to messages, and full of top tips (even sending us places to go after we'd moved on for the second part of our stay in Funchal). I was a little worried about the lack of air conditioning, but the cottage stayed lovely and cool. It was quite hot while we were there, but we still didn't need to use the fan that was provided. We loved the visits from the local lizards and escaped chickens at breakfast! Everything was incredibly clean and well equipped for our needs (just some BBQ tools would be useful, and I would have preferred some comfier seats on the terrace, but this is being really picky). Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay ! The house was spotless, cosy, and had an incredible sea view. The sunsets were absolutely stunning. Elise and Bobby are fantastic hosts kind, welcoming and always positive. They gave us great local tips and recommendations, and we really enjoyed our conversations with them. They were always available if we needed anything. Thank you, Elise and Bobby! We hope to see you again someday.

The only thing to note is the parking. The street is very narrow, so it can be a bit tricky the first couple of times, but once you get used to it, it’s absolutely fine.

The house is super nice. Its interior is lovely and makes you feel comfortable from the beginning on. There is everything you need. Even a washing mashine. The pool area is amazing. You can hang out and see the ocean out of the water. Bobby is a super nice host and helps you with local tips for hiking trips, restaurants etc. We are super happy to spent time at this very special and layed back place! Thanks for everything
