Pana House

Absolutely breathtaking views! The peace and quiet were simply incredible, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from this location was truly unforgettable. Everything about the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.The beds were comfortable. The welcome was exceptional – we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift, and later during our stay we received another thoughtful surprise, which made us feel truly special.The house offered plenty of spacious common areas, while the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. Having three bathrooms was a great advantage, especially for a larger group. Everything was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The only minor issue we experienced was with the hot tub. We had to add a little air to it each day because of a few small cracks in the inflatable lining. However, it wasn't a major problem, and we were still able to enjoy the hot tub to the fullest throughout our stay.

We had an outstanding stay at this property and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Madeira. The location is truly exceptional — the house is nestled in the middle of a banana plantation, which makes it incredibly, private, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house itself is spacious and well-designed, spread across two floors, and was spotless upon arrival. Everything was very well maintained, from the comfortable beds to the clean and modern bathrooms. The property is fully equipped with everything you might need for both short and longer stays. One of the highlights is the beautiful terrace, which offers a great space to relax. The jacuzzi is fully functional and can be heated, making it perfect for evenings after a day of exploring the island. The location is also very convenient: the nearest beach is only about a 5-minute drive away, where you’ll find several excellent restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket for groceries. It’s also an ideal base for exploring Madeira, as most key attractions can be reached easily from here. A special mention goes to Gustavo, the host, who made our stay even more exceptional. He greeted us warmly on arrival, gave us a thorough tour of the house, and provided a very detailed and helpful guide to the island. He went above and beyond by assisting us with our luggage — even helping transport it to Funchal when we switched to a motorcycle and couldn’t carry everything ourselves. His hospitality, responsiveness, and willingness to help with anything truly made a difference. Easily one of the best hosts we’ve ever experienced. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations — 12/10. We would definitely stay here again!

This accommodation is located in the hills and has a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding area. We loved having breakfast and a drink outside in the evening. The property is very spacious and well equipped for everything you need. Gustavo was also a great host!

Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t operating perfectly, but Gustavo explained to us how to fix it temporarily.

Gustavo is the most amazing host! He was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. He greeted us warmly, brought us fresh fruits, and gave us plenty of helpful information and great recommendations for exploring the island. We had a wonderful stay here. The house has an amazing sea view, and the porch was the perfect place to relax and even do some stargazing at night. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will come back to this wonderful island for sure, and would be happy to stay at Pana house again.
