Located on the first floor of the restored Villa Li, the “Sonneninsel” vacation rental is a light-filled, very well-maintained 3-room apartment. The sun peeks into the charming sunroom first thing in the morning and moves from window to window throughout the day, eventually shining into the living room from the Friedensberg in the afternoon.
Your vacation home features an actual living area of approximately 65 square meters, generously distributed across all living spaces. Both bedrooms and the living room offer ample space for a relaxing vacation. The apartment is furnished with modern, high-quality furniture and many little extras. The sunroom, furnished with two armchairs and a table, as well as the beautiful view over Wilhelmstraße, are among the highlights of the apartment, along with its prime location near the beach.
In the spacious living room, the new, very comfortable seating area invites you to relax. Entertainment options include a Panasonic home theater system and a state-of-the-art audio system with a soundbar. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. From the elegant dining table for four, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the Friedensberg across the way with its old beech grove, while also overlooking historic Wilhelmstraße.
The kitchenette, which opens onto the living area, is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee maker, and various small kitchen items. A basic supply of cleaning supplies is also included as part of the apartment’s standard amenities.
The larger of the two bedrooms invites you to relax with a double bed and an extensive book collection. The wardrobe offers ample storage space for your vacation wardrobe. The second bedroom, with its comfortable size and double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), is also a pleasant retreat. Here you’ll also find a closet, a writing desk with a mirror, and an armchair.
In the brightly tiled bathroom, a shower/toilet, sink, hair dryer, and a heated towel rack ensure your comfort.
Good to know:
• Your free parking space is located in the large parking lot at Selliner Seepark, approximately 1.3 km from the house. Parking on Wilhelmstraße is available only for a fee (parking meters), though you can obtain a free ticket valid for up to 30 minutes. With your Sellin visitor’s card, you can use the local beach train and town bus free of charge.
• For new parents, the apartment is equipped with a wide range of amenities. A travel crib (without a mattress for hygiene reasons), a high chair, children’s tableware, children’s books, and games are available for free use.
• A washing machine and dryer are available to all guests.
• Bicycle storage is available behind the house and in the basement.
This non-smoking vacation apartment is ideal for up to 4 people. Out of consideration for future guests and especially those with allergies, smoking inside the apartment and bringing pets are not permitted.
