Lovely, spacious and luxurious rooms with high ceilings and a sense of grandeur. Enormous comfortable bed with memory foam mattress. Large enough to entertain guests (not that we did), with parking spaces reserved for them. Surrounded by excellent gardens and woodlands. Easy access to Ambleside. A fantastic place to stay in the Lake District with access to Windermere.

The property was beautiful and we would return for a visit
The neighbours upstairs came in during the early hours of the morning on 2 of the 4 nights that we were there and were very noisy and inconsiderate - as this disturbed all members of our parties sleep. That said this does not take away the well put together and convenient apartment.

Everything. The apartment was beautiful. Top class.
The key pad next to the entrance would have been preferable as finding it in the dark and wet was a little bit challenging but. . . worth it!

Beautiful grounds, near hiking. Spacious living room and two bathrooms
The apartment smelled pretty bad. Windows in living room didn’t open and there was no AC. Minimal amenities- no toiletries, no suggestions of places to go or things to do. A few things were run down and the curtains in the smaller room were sheer, letting light in.
