Wonderful place to have a dog friendly relaxing break
Location & facilities. Also, Ross’ customer service was exemplary. Couple of minor issues that were fixed in exceptionally timely fashion. Mattress was sublime!

Spacious and perfect Lakes District atmosphere
We loved the location and how spacious the apartment was - great for 3 adults and an infant to spread out. The atmosphere of the stay was great in sun and rain, lovely to sit in an arm chair in front of the big open windows as the rain fell.
The beds were comfortable but quite soft in some places.

Decent apartment but would be nice if owner fixed up basic issues and provided more amenities.
Beautiful grounds, near hiking. Spacious living room and two bathrooms
The apartment smelled pretty bad. Windows in living room didn’t open and there was no AC. Minimal amenities- no toiletries, no suggestions of places to go or things to do. A few things were run down and the curtains in the smaller room were sheer, letting light in.

It was a great place to stay!
I liked how spacious and clean the place was. We had a bit of a problem with the tap as it was not closing off totally, where we found out that we had to close the other knob for the water to stop. The agent was quick enough to respond to our questions and came over to help us with the problem. The accommodation was also accessible to the Ambleside pier and the area was quiet, perfect for relaxation and unwinding, especially after a long walk.
The sofa bed may need to be upgraded. We could feel the metal supporting it from below. It was slightly expensive for a 3-night stay, and there were no options for a free cancellation if you want to.

So glad we found this little gem of a place 💛
The apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious and immaculately clean , hosting all the equipment and utensils you would need. Location was superb with stunning grounds very private and quiet. absolutely amazing place 5🌟 would definitely recommend and book again
The only negative was that the bed settee in the spare bedroom wasn't the most comfortable and probably would benefit from a mattress topper

A great stay in a stunning apartment.
We loved the great communication we had with the hosts, it made our arrival so easy. We were absolutely blown away with how stunning the apartment was. It is absolutely huge! I could quite happily live there! It was immaculately clean. Having the outside space was great for our dog too! She had a great time exploring. We will definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful home.
Stunning property in a beautiful location - on top of a hill surrounded by woodland, and within walking distance to Ambleside. The property itself felt spacious and welcoming, with plenty of room for and beautiful high ceilings. Everything was very clean. The two bathrooms seemed pretty much brand new. It was very quiet. The gardens were spectacular, and we were absolutely delighted to find that there is a little path (through the Rhododendron) that leads straight through the beautiful woodland down to the main road. Our 4 year-old absolutely loved the gardens. The agency was exceptional and helped us deal with a problem I ran into on account of allergies/sensitivities to scents and perfumes by completely changing all of our bed linen and purchasing a brand new duvet! I could hardly believe it. Thank you so much; it saved our stay.
We could not work out how to release the lock safe for the key and required help from a gentleman who lived in the property and knew how to handle the technology. I'd like to add that we are fairly accustomed to using lock safes and that this particular one is in a league of its own! After a long journey arriving in the pouring rain with a tired small child, this was difficult and could have been better. I believe that holiday homes should preferably be cleaned and maintained with minimally perfumed or naturally scented products, because many people have sensitivities. In our case, very strongly scented air freshener had been applied in our bedroom, settled on the bedding and penetrated into the pillows and duvet. We would have found the property perfect, had at least one of the windows in the big living room/kitchen area been openable. We understand that this is currently difficult due to the nature of the house/age of the windows etc., but we think that perhaps one of the window panes by the kitchen could actually be easily converted into a window or door.
