could have done with a back yard/garden for the dog to go out toileting in the night. My husband had to walk the streets to get him to go.

We loved the cottage. The location was great for the amenities of Ambleside.
The cottage had a very comfortable cosy feel with tasteful decor & excellent facilities, all we could have wanted.
As we were a mixture of friends & family, a second shower in the top-floor bathroom would have made it perfect!

Excellent location close to Ambleside centre. Clean and tidy with all the facilities.
Parking in front of house can be issue if you arrive after 5pm

Location cannot be faulted
The cost relevant to the place itself wasnt worth it.
We found lots of dirty items including poo on toilet seat. Photos were taken.
A cheap electric fire in front room that wasnt fit for purpose.
Gaps around adjoining front door...mid winter...room was freezing.
£250 per night...never again
$$$$
