About this cottage rental
Step into this beautifully kept period cottage and you’ll immediately feel right at home. Curl up in the cosy living room with its comfy seating, wood burner and TV – great for relaxing after a day out. Across the hall is a separate dining room with a traditional farmhouse-style table for enjoying slow breakfasts or hearty dinners, prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. Head up to the first floor to find a king-size bedroom at the front of the house, plus a family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. The second floor features two more peaceful bedrooms – a twin and a double – with lovely views over the garden and surrounding fells.Head down to the cellar where you’ll find the original pot sink for washing muddy boots, and storage space for hanging wet clothing - handy for active breaks in the Lakes.
Outside, you can sit out on the garden terrace with a drink, unwind in the insulated summerhouse or head straight onto the footpath up Wansfell via the garden gate. Please note, while the garden is enclosed, it is enclosed with next doors garden.

- Shared enclosed garden (enclosed with next doors garden) with terrace, garden furniture and insulated summerhouse

- Please note: garden gate opens directly onto a public footpath
- Walking into Ambleside is mostly downhill, the return walk back to the cottage is an uphill climb
