Comfortable , everything we needed and in a great location

The house was situated in a great place, a 2 minute walk to the centre of Ambleside. The beds and sofas were comfortable and the house was spacious. For each bedroom, there was a bathroom too which was convenient and appreciated. There was also a smart TV in each bedroom. The garden was nice and had some afternoon sun. The WiFi was good, but was a bit slower if you're on the top floor. They supplied enough dishwasher tablets for the week.

Not enough toilet rolls were supplied, one of the kitchen chairs was broken when we arrived. The fridge was too small for 8 people, perhaps having a small extra one in the boiler room would have been better.

The property was perfect for us 7 adults.. comfy beds, cosy house, plenty of hot water… after hikes in the fells..all you could need in the house for a brilliant stay in the most beautiful part of the country..

Could not fault this property it was lovely & comfortable.. plenty of room & great to have 4 bathrooms/ensuites, no waiting for a shower when coming in from wet fell walks ..
