Excellent central position in Ambleside, only a short walk to the shops, restaurants and bars, ideal for our annual Ambleside family gathering.
The house was lovely and warm for our arrival, found all we needed in the kitchen to prep, cook and eat the meals we had. (Bit short on wine glasses and pints)
Bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable and clean.
Nice having the car parking passes.
Only a few picky points that would have made the difference.
I’d seen in previous comments about the drooping dining room curtains, I sorted them out while waiting for the girls to get ready to go out 🤭.
Also stopped the dishwasher from rocking when the door was opened.
It also needs 2 wheels to go on the bottom basket to replace the missing ones.
Lounge, stairs and landings carpet could do with a clean.
Kitchen chairs need a couple of screws and the others tightened, a bulb in the lamp on top floor landing.
Would have been nice to have something to light and burn I’n the log burner, just enough for the first night.
All that said I’ll be booking again for next January.

Really lovely three storey traditional town house. Lots of room for six people. Good kitchen, which was well equipped.
Having to retrieve the key from the office prior to our stay. A key safe would be more effective.

Chair in kitchen broken on arrival
Worse part is permit issued by the property isn’t recognised by local council and parting ticket issued which was v disappointing
