Great location for the Fairfield horseshoe walk. Lovely restaurants and pubs nearby. Lovely treat to have a wood burner

Perfect location close to all the amenities- the views from the bedrooms overlook roof tops and the back drop of the beautiful mountains - dog friendly accommodation- cute garden area which is secure for the dog, driveway suitable for a transporter vehicle, inside the property was clean, spacious, warm and cozy- the two double bedrooms are spacious and there is a cute single room - the beds are comfortable and very clean (feather quilts and pillows) there is everything you need in the kitchen and the porch is great to come in from the rain- and hang up your coats/boots - the stairs leading from the hallway has a handy safety gate. The log burner is a treat for a cozy evening although the property is perfectly warm with the central heating (our stay was late October )

Barn was beautiful and in an ideal location, two minute walk from the centre of Ambleside.
Comfortable, soft beds; spotlessly clean, everything we needed for our Anniversary Break.

The cottage wasn’t very clean. There black dog hairs all over the floor, in the bath and in the bedrooms. There were no hand soaps in the 2 toilets. the cottage is in need of a little spruce up.
