Nice accomodation close to venter of town .good facility’s .lovely outdoor garden area .lovely view from front of house .

Had no idea it was over three floors and going up and down the stairs caused concern for all,plus it’s at the top of a steep hill .i felt this was hidden in pictures shown . Even the taxi driver had trouble finding the property .

Directions to get to the property could be improved by telling people to go through the gate marked for number 1. We assumed that was private & inadvertently entered another neighbour’s garden

Views and space

Poor directions ….. tricky to find in dark. top tip is to park above temporarily to unpack car and walk down .

The location and view from the small garden and windows was incredible! Luke's Hoose was comfy and cosy, but also very spacious for our group. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms were great. Perfectly located at the start of the footpath to Stock Ghyll and Wansfell Pike, and only seconds away from all the pubs and shops of Ambleside. The listing makes clear that there is no parking at the property and that it is up a very steep footpath, we did not have a car so had no problems - close to bus stop as well.

One step on the stairs just outside the bathroom had a loose floorboard, so mind your step!
