The bed and reclining sofa were very comfortable, and the TV had all the apps you could need. The facilities were clean, modern, and well maintained. The lodge is also in a great location — just a two-minute walk from the forest — with lovely forest views and a beautiful veranda to enjoy them from.
The owners were friendly and kind throughout our stay. However, we hadn’t realised the lodge was located right next door to the owners’ home, so we expected a little more privacy. Unfortunately, it also wasn’t quite as dog-friendly as we had initially thought. If you are bringing a pet, I’d recommend carefully checking the drop-down sections within the legal terms beforehand, as this provides important details about the pet policy and any restrictions.
