    Bathroom is the focal point. It’s in a great location. Maybe a 2 min walk away from the thermal valley. However, it is located on a hill so be prepared for a little trek up.

    We like this hotel for its wonderful private onsen. Great for family with young kids. It takes awhile to walk up to the hotel but great for us to enjoy the scenery.

    Booked this hotel last minute for a short rest before my midnight flight, as it was the most cheapest option after checking out of a nearby hotel. The location is uphill, which made the walk quite tiring—especially with luggage—and there’s no shuttle service provided. The hot spring bathtub is spacious enough for two, and we had a great time enjoying ourselves in it. However, the room layout feels a odd —the TV is mounted in top beside the bed, and the basin is placed right in front of it. The European-style design is a nice effort but feels eerie. Overall, we only stayed for about four hours before heading to the airport, so it served its purpose.
