The cottage was cosy but quite spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The garden was nice and the location brilliant, right next to the shop and pub! The TV set up was good and it was handy to have a washing machine. It was good value for money and a great base for lots of areas of the Peak District, and walks around the village. It’s more spacious than the pictures suggest.
There was only one toilet roll provided, and hardly any soap, so that didn’t last a week.
The cottage was quite dark, perhaps the lighting could be updated to be more effective.
If you have a particularly big car you might struggle to fit in the parking space.
The bin instructions were a bit confusing and it wasn’t clear what to do with recycling.
