A refreshing view of Thailand, an amazing experience from start to finish!

The property was homely, clean and scenic. Offering lots of activities to do around the area for all ages, as well as good restaurants and a pick up service from bus stop. Ban is also happy to make home cooked meals from her kitchen. Local rural area which is a lovely break from bigger tourist places. Becky and Jack were always in contact making sure we had everything we needed. Amazing hospitality, sad to be leaving already and can’t wait to be back!

Friendly homestay in great, quiet location. Lots of fun tourist attractions. Boat ride, nat. park.

The breakfast was great. Fresh fruit and very healthy. The family who ran the homestay were very kind, friendly and helpful. Quiet peaceful road off the busy street, close to nature and birds.

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable.

Good value for the price

The bed is comfortable, and the price is good value.

The first and most important thing is this: if someone is considering coming to this area for Than Bok Korani National Park, don’t. It is totally worthless, especially for the 300 THB per person entry fee. That said, the landlady was very nice. The apartment looks a bit better in the pictures; the bathroom is below average, but it was clean, although worn out.

Pan was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely little balcony with a view and really enjoyed our breakfast and young coconut. There was plenty of living space in a lovely location. thanks Pan!

We lived staying here. A great home stay. Basic accommodation but with all that you could need. The family are very friendly and will cook dinner for you if asked. Dinner was super delicious! In a good location too near facilities but quiet.

Great hosts, far from tourism, very clean accommodation 🌸

First we have to say, that Becky and her parents are great hosts in every respect. They are very accommodating. They organized excursions for us, took us kayaking, took special requests for breakfast into account and also thought about whether we had allergies and what they should look out for. You have different options for breakfast and lunch (lunch for a fee and cheap) and it was always very tasty and freshly prepared. The clean accommodation consists of two rooms, there is air conditioning in the bedroom (no darkening such as blinds) and a fan in the living room. There is also a great balcony. The location of the accommodation is central and good for excursions. The city itself is not yet very developed for tourism, the people are all really polite and they are very happy if you speak a few words of Thai. There is also a peaceful dog living in the garden, but he is always on a leash during the day. All in all: It was so nice that we even extended our stay. Price-performance was absolutely fair in everything. Thanks Becky, Pan and Supachai! ♥️

Vraiment pas fabuleux !

Premier constat, le wifi fonctionne parfaitement.

Vraiment pas fabuleux ! Pour ce qui est de la situation de la chambre d'hôte, elle est très loin des rares restaurants et il n'y a vraiment pas grand chose à voir et à faire dans la région d'Ao Luek, hormis quelques pièges à touristes. La chambre louée est située à quelques encablures de la route et juste derrière le parking du supermarché et de son entrepôt, c'est donc très bruyant tard le soir et dans la nuit. D'autant qu'il n'y a pas de fenêtres, juste des vasistas. La pièce mise en location donne sur un local débarras bouché par une porte métallique. A la tombée de la nuit, dès que la lampe est allumée, il n'y a pas vraiment d'intimité dans la pièce louée car les rideaux ne sont pas opaques. Pareil, dès que le jour se lève, la pièce est éclairée. Le matelas du lit est dur comme du bois. Impossible de dormir correctement, d'autant qu'un des oreillers est lui aussi dur comme du béton et ce n'est pas une façon de parler. La climatisation bruyante donne directement sur le lit qui est placé juste en dessous et qui est coincé entre les trois murs. Ce qui fait que vous devez enjamber votre conjoint pour vous lever en pleine nuit, sans possibilité d'allumer une lampe, ni de poser votre téléphone à côté de vous côté mur... Comme le climatiseur est un vieux modèle, soit vous êtes glacé toute la nuit, soit vous restez éveillé pour l'éteindre et le rallumer en permanence. Globalement, l'état de la salle de bain et celui de la chambre est très vétuste et l'ensemble est très mal entretenu. A noter, car c'est la première fois que nous voyons cela en Thaïlande : les propriétaires ne fournissent pas de bouteilles d'eau encapsulées, mais 2 bouteilles de verre style limonade remplies d'eau du robinet et qui sont complètement moisies à l'intérieur ! Pour parfaire le tout, le chien aboie régulièrement dans la nuit et comme la chambre est située en face d'un étang, elle est infestée de moustiques.

Une cabane dans le bruit de la ville

J'ai apprécié l'aide que m'a fourni la fille de l'hôte à distance : liste d'activités, comment venir de l'aéroport. Elle nous a même nous a trouvé une location de scooter car tout était booke. Superbe reactivite dans les messages. On a aimé les excursions autour (scooter nécessaire).

J'étais dans la cabane donc je n'ai pas profité de la vue dont parlent les commentaires. Il y avait le bruit de la climatisation, comme le bruit d'un tracteur qui m'a empêché de dormir, et le bruit des voitures et moto car la route et à quelques mètres et les chiens. Je n'ai pas pu me reposer ici de mon long voyage. Il y avait une lumière blanche toute la nuit dans la cuisine que l'on voit de la cabane, ce qui empêche de dormir. On voulait commander des petit-déjeuners - recommandés par tous les commentaires booking - mais l'hôte n'a pas voulu en préparer (elle voulait faire sa gymnastique) et nous a recommandé d'aller sur la grande route trouver un restaurant :(. Tout était fermé, donc partis avec quelques fruits en excursion. Dommage !
