Old soul of Skadarlija

A fantastic location in the heart of the old town. As soon as you come out of the door you are on a cobbled street full of vibrant restaurants and cocktail bars. The energy is fantastic. Note that it is a pedestrian area so taxis can’t drop you to your door. The other incredible thing is the buses nearby that are very regular and free to use.

The night before arrival I was informed by the host that we needed to pay cash in euros upon arrival. There was nothing on booking.com to specify this and it caused some stress. In addition the host then requested a further 100 euros so the price stated on booking.com did not match the hosts expectation. In the end the host honoured the booking.com price but it was not a great start to our trip so the host needs to ensure communication is provided at the point they receive a booking. Please also note you need a white card in Serbia and the host must register your arrival in their country within 24 hours. For a whole day we thought there were no mugs and drank out of plastic cups. The mugs were in the dishwasher! I would encourage the host to ensure all tableware is placed in the cupboards before visitors arrive.

A charming, spacious, and pleasant apartment in a central location in Belgrade. The apartment is situated in a rear courtyard, making it very quiet despite being in the heart of the entertainment district. It offers easy walking access to major city attractions and is close to many restaurants and entertainment venues. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for a family with children. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommended!

Рядом очень много ресторанов и в этом дворике их задняя часть. Утром, особенно после пятницы часов в 6.00 уборщик так гремит мусором и пустыми бутылками. Продолжается минут 30.
