Sefton View

This place was one of our favourites on South Island. Location was perfect for us and was only a few minutes from our stargazing site. Had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a great shower. We also loved that we could get great photos of the night sky at home.

Spa was not able to be used, so we had a couple of disappointed teenagers over that. Nothing else to dislike about this fab place!

All good,simple stand alone single story . Most important cookware all good in condition with no scratches. Got hot tub but not able to use as winter

Only provide all in one toiletries where should be improved as the daily rate is high . Only have one toilet and one bathroom . Tough for a group to stay .

The unit was clean and seemed to be newly built.

When we arrived the room was incredibly hot, the AC was off and all the shades were drawn allowing the sun into all the bedrooms. As soon as we came in we turned on the AC, closed the blinds, and then left to eat dinner as we couldn't stay there with the heat. Even after returning the unit was still uncomfortable. The AC unit is in the living room but doesn't circulate to the bedrooms well. There are no ceiling fans or standing fans. Also, it seems strange that the unit is 3 bedrooms but only 1 bathroom. Also, the unit advertises it has a hot tub. However, I was setting the hot tub up and was having trouble so I asked the owner a question about it. The owner told me the hot tub can not be used. That was very disappointing because it is advertised as having a hot tub which I was assuming I could use. Furthermore, only 2 large bath towels were supplied which seemed not sufficient. We told the owner we have a baby with us and he needs his own towel. It should include 4 towels.
