Big and clean. Location is close to Tekapo centre. Check in is just via door codes, but was ok and easy.

We couldn’t get the tv to work. Not a big problem though. No lake view, but that’s reflected in the good price. And you can just go down to the lake.

The property is in a great location, making it convenient to get around. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the cooking utensils and kitchen essentials you might need. Overall, it was comfortable, well-maintained, and offered everything we needed. A beautiful place.

The only downside to our stay was our initial interaction with one of the housekeeping staff. We arrived at 2:43 PM, just 17 minutes before the 3:00 PM check-in time. We understand that the room may not have been ready, and when we were told to come back at 3:00 PM because they were busy, we politely replied that we were happy to wait. Unfortunately, the staff member appeared visibly annoyed and slammed the door twice as she went in and out. While we completely understand that housekeeping can be busy, there is always a professional and courteous way to communicate with guests. Her behavior came across as RUDE and was not the welcoming experience we expected. Thankfully, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, professional and helpful. We informed him about what had happened, and he handled the situation well. I hope management takes this feedback constructively and provides additional customer service training for staff. A warm and respectful first impression makes a big difference, especially when guests are arriving excited to enjoy their stay. Aside from this unfortunate experience, everything else about the property was excellent.

Place was absolutely fabulous. Great for what we needed. Nice clean. Easy to find. Central to all attractions.
