About this house rental
BRAND NEW RENOVATION of a historic double shotgun which we turned it into a traditional single family with a proper 3 bedroom 3 bathroom layout. That means, no walking through one bedroom to get to another bedroom! Perfect for families or couples, our Marigny home is a spacious historic retreat (2150 sqft w/600sqft of private outdoor space). A 5min walk to Frenchman St & the French Quarter, we're surrounded by everything a visitor could want: great restaurants, a quality grocer, pharmacy, shopping from galleries to clothes to book sellers. And don't forget the hip bars, hotel bars and dive bars...and of course, music spots! The Marigny is a star, close to the action but far enough away to be truly restful.

We've been coming to NOLA and staying in Marigny for years. Without a doubt, this was the best house we've ever stayed in. The common space was awesome for 6 adults, the bedrooms were roomy with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen and a nice outdoor space. The owners were incredibly responsive -- we preferred a drip coffee pot (over a french press and nespresso) and it was delivered the next day. We highly recommend staying here!

I just can’t say enough good things about this place. My husband and my two kids in their 20’s and I were traveling to New Orleans to visit my brother and his girlfriend, so we intended to visit as well as enjoy music on Frenchman St and the French Quarter. We were minutes walking from a great grocery store, fantastic music and really great dining. When we walked through the door our first thought was that it was incredibly spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with good knives and even a rice cooker. Not only is everything tastefully decorated, the furnishings, including the beds were very comfortable. Three full upscale bathrooms and a powder room allowed us all to have our own space. Everything was very considerately done. The owners definitely have their guests’ comfort in mind.
