Excellent...book!

I cannot put in to words how great the owners here are. I booked here for my parents to stay as it is close to wicklow hospice.my uncle was unfortunately in hospice and this location was literally a few yards away so was so easy for them to come and go etc. The owners could not have been nicer offering extra beds towels etc if any other family members wished to stay. The also greated my parents wt fresh scones and eggs and bits in the house to make tea. Well appreciated after a long day in the hospice. The owner went out of her way to help them and made a hard time that little bit easier. The cottage itself is so cozy with plenty of everything you need down to reading lights and hot water bottles. Each room has a bathroom with shower in both so very handy to get ready etc. Everything available in the apartment and includeds all leaflets of places to go and see as well as food menus etc but the cottage itself is full equipped with everything you will need. We will definitely book again under better circumstances but would 100% recommend.

Well-equipped cottage with beautiful scenery

We stayed as a family for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Although the sunrise was hidden by clouds, we enjoyed the lovely views once the weather cleared. The location is peaceful and convenient for exploring Wicklow. Sophia was very welcoming and helpful. While we have no plans to return for personal reasons, we would gladly consider it in the future.

Perfect holiday

The cottages were absolutely stunning! Sophia had left lovely fresh scones for us on arrival, which the kids loved! The cottage was so beautiful and in a lovely quiet location. There was everything we needed, even a washing machine and dryer on site, which is very handy. The girls loved being able to walk around the cottage, we had our own private garden space, and it is very safe for the kids to play, something they're not used to being from London. There are beaches either side to walk to, which we did every evening, just idyllic!! The showers were perfect, heating perfect. Just a perfect holiday for us! Also Sophia was great with communication, even before staying, she would reply to any queries so quickly! Thank you!

Great Stay in Wicklow!

The location was great for our family as we were looking for some solitude with an ability to enjoy Wicklow, Greystones and Dublin. The cottage had great space, was well appointed and had very comfortable beds.

Nothing to dislike... it was a great property, fantastic hosts and a good overall experience.

Very comfortable stay south of Wicklow

The cottage was very comfortable, it reflects the care that Sophia & Ned have taken to create a great holiday rental. Great little enclosed yard would be ideal for small children . The laundry room was also handy.

Not what it says on the tin

Location excellent

Garden very disappointing pots full of weeds from many yrs. View partially blocked by shed. We were 2 senior women asked for 2 rooms. When booking 1 room had double bed and other suggested twin beds. 2nd room had a bunk bed which was very uncomfortable.. it caused a bit of friction between us for our holiday.

Excellent accommodation.

Place was beautiful,close to the beach, and a few minutes away from town. Owner Sophia was super nice. The cottage was perfectly clean. We had everything we needed for cooking our meals. The beds were comfortable. We couldn't ask for more.

Superb accommodation in an amazing location

Beautiful excellent value holiday home in amazing location near Blainroe Golf Course & Magheramore beach & about 6km from Wicklow town. Wicklow Golf Course and the fabulous Brittas Bay beaches are very close. We stayed in cottage no 4 and really enjoyed our stay. Loads of free parking and lovely nice outside seating area with tables and chairs well screened from the wind but we were there in cold early February so unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the sea view with a nice glass of wine. Hopefully we'll be back again in warmer weather. Really spacious living room with two very good sized bedrooms. Excellent electric heating system and lovely and very effective electric fireplace. Comfortable beds and ample wardrobe storage for clothes. Lots of extra comfy blankets are provided as well as towels and proper quality toiletries. Good sized bathroom with loads of hot water and the electric shower is superb. Really nice and very helpful hosts with great communication from the moment we booked. Lovely touch that we were welcomed with their complementary own farm eggs, fresh scones, milk, tea etc and a personalised chalkboard welcome sign. Everything that could possibly be needed in the kitchen is provided. Overall we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this accommodation!

La casa es muy acogedora, amplia y bien equipada. La anfitriona nos dejó pasteles, leche y huevos de sus gallinas, todo un detalle.

La cama grande de la habitación que tiene literas es un poco incómoda (en el cottage 3, donde nos alojamos). Sería más bonito si no tuviese un almacén al lado, porque estropea las vistas que tiene el sitio que son preciosas.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne entspannte Woche in einem empfehlenswerten Haus bei sehr netten Vermietern.

Alles war sauber und ordentlich, wir wurden sehr freundlich und mit einem kleinen Willkommensgruß in der Küche empfangen. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet viel Platz.

Das Meer ist nicht weit und man kann es zum Teil von der Unterkunft aus sehen, aber es führt leider kein direkter Weg an die Küste.
