The kitchen window couldn’t lock felt a bit unsafe

The location next to the park and the river are great. Some nice breakfast places close by. Relatively easy to take the bus or tube into town. Practically everything you need is in the apartment.

One of the bedrooms has thin walls and is beneath the stairs. It can get quite noisy. The bathroom had a bit of an unpleasant sewer smell. The shower regulator is high and the thing to put the shower head in was broken.

European travelers, don’t forget to buy a socket adaptor when traveling to the UK! There was one in the apartment, and it saved our souls :) The location is lovely. Putney is a very lively area with a beautiful bridge and a charming riverside. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, and there’s also a petrol station nearby that’s open late at night. The apartment is cozy and warm, it helps you feel grounded and truly feel that you’re in London.

Some interior renovations wouldn’t hurt, but it’s excellent for the price.

Beds comfortable. To clarify, despite comments given below, we would stay again because it was in a good location for us at a reasonable price.. However, we AirB&B regularly both in this country and abroad, and the initial impression was that it was below our usual standards. Many of our criticisms are easily rectified with a little more attention to the small details.

No light bulb in kitchen light - dangerous pouring boiling water into tea cups. Weeds in garden and conservatory, plus bike in garden, gave bad uncared for impression. Bins belonging to neighbour overflowing with pizza boxes on top. In information told toiletries provided - shower gel container there but empty. Expected individual bottles put in for our let, not ones handled by previous occupants. Glass table too big for size of area and door entry - a folding table would be more suitable Difficult to draw and un-draw curtains. Very high and a pile would have been useful. Overall impression was it was a bit 'tired'.
