Modern 1 Bed Flat in Barnes near River Thames

The location of the apartment was extremely convenient for travel in and out of London as the train station was a 5 minute walk away; there was also a bus stop across the road if you prefer to travel by bus, and it had a Sainsbury's Local basically next door. The area was gorgeous, with the River Thames beside it and to be fair, if you had wanted to stay in the area, or didnt particularly feel like cooking, you had options nearby. The apartment itself was also cozy, the back of the sofa could be lowered to change it into a lounger which we took advantage of for movie nights etc. As for the TV itself, there were plenty of apps, ranging from YouTube to Rakuten TV, so there were plenty of options to choose from. We had also been provided the essentials, and inside of the toiletries we were also provided with toothpaste and mouthwash, and some shampoo. There was also spare bedding set up in the wardrobe incase we needed to do a changeover during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

There were some draws in the wardrobe that when you pulled them out, the bottom would fall out. So we avoided using them, but there was still enough space for us to put our clothing away. The table in the living area / living room was unstable, but not to the point we were scared of putting anything on it. It just required a bit of careful attention as there was a screw or two missing. Whilst I could understand why they wouldn't include this, but some bigger bowls (like a mixing bowl, or even a plastic jug) could be helpful, especially if you're making use of the kitchen and doing a mix of cooking / baking. For the first few nights of our stay, there was a dripping noise, which we assumed came from a leaking pipe. It was particularly noticeable in the bedroom. WiFi was a bit slow, but usable for your day to day browsing, scrolling etc. I wouldn't recommend trying to upload or download anything major. The door for the flat we stayed in requires a bit of work to open from the entryway/hallway, but once you are inside of the actual apartment itself, it works fine.

Location was good. Easy to get into London. Sainsbury right next door. Local cafes and pubs vey close.

Квартира находится в очень уютном районе и все,в буквальном смысле, под боком - магазин, кафе, паб, станция, автобусные остановки. Квартира очень просторная и есть все базовые принадлежности - есть даже экстра матрас. Владелец позволил заехать немного раньше и выехать на час позже, что было очень приятно.

К сожалению, было много минусов: 1. Слышимость : мы не видели наших соседей, но грохот был жуткий. Где-то есть лестница и по ней бегали все кто только можно. Понимаю, что наверное с этим ничего не сделать , но имейте ввиду. 2. Интернет : на букинге написано что якобы интернета нет, но стриминг сервисы есть (?). Вай фай все таки был, но ощущение, что с каждым днем работа - способность была все хуже и хуже. То нельзя было подключится, то он просто не работал и рутер выключался сам по себе. Боролись с подключением каждый день. 3. Чистота: наверное самый большой минус в этой квартире. В ванной летало мушек штук 7-8 каждый день. И они там в этой ванной и обитали все наше проживание. Держатель для туалетной бумаги видимо сломался, но никто его не хотел чинить к нашему приезду и бумага стояла около раковины, где намокала. Даже пахучую штучку никто не менял - она там пустая уже долго. Паутина везде, пыль, без тапок по полу не пройти. На патио мы и вовсе не выходили - там так все запущено, что и окна не хотелось открывать. Чайник был в ужасном состоянии - там столько налета что отпадает все желание пить чай. Фильтр для воды так же видимо не проверялся и не менялся месяцами ибо на нем был слой пыли. 4. Инструкции: было бы не плохо дать чуть больше инструкции по поводу кода на дверь, или в принципе по проживанию, как к вайфаю подключится или другие мелочи. Все приходилось выяснять самим. 5. Техника : лампочки на зеркале - не подключены и не работают. Лампочки , где патио, не работают - больше для красоты. И телевизор перестал работать в последний день. По итогу: кажется что фотографии здесь не много устарели, а так же возможно стоит проверить работу ваших уборщиц. Чуть чуть бы больше внимания уделили этому месту - и было бы невероятное место. Но увы.
