We were contacted just two days before arrival and told that our original accommodation was no longer available. We were then told this property was available for us instead. When we arrived and saw the appalling state of it, I raised the issue immediately — and was offered just a £20 discount. An absolute insult. The property itself was disgusting. It had clearly not been cleaned — dirt everywhere, no hand towels or tea towels, and the so-called “fully functioning kitchen” had no equipment and an oven that was too filthy to use. The garden was broken and full of rubbish, making it completely unusable. This place is not fit to be let out and should be removed from Booking.com. The listing is completely misleading, and the way the situation was handled was unprofessional and dismissive. Do not book this property - you will regret it.
