Lovely spot on the water. The Retreat had everything we needed. Was vey practical for a short stay. Walking distance to everything.
There was milk provided in small cartons but they had an expiry of 5 months prior. Saw no other evidence of lack of attention to detail.

Location was fantastic, close to most things. Although, we did not use it the fire ready to light was a nice touch. Once again although we didnt use them , all the facilities in the kitchen were fantastic.
The back door is so flimsy and you could very easily gain entrance to the unit without a key so we did not leave any valuables there whilst out. The front sliding door was unlocked when we arrived. This door also needs a secure lock too. We were only in the unit for a couple of hours (other than sleeping) as we went to the festival however, in that short time we were chasing and squashing a lot of bugs, cockroaches, inchmans, mosquitos. The place needs fumigating badly. The place did not reflect the old run down place and furniture, needs some work if going to charge that price.
