Is a little pricey.

We enjoyed our stay in the Pepperberry tiny home. The location was private and the cabin was cosy and warm, with everything we needed. It felt like it was brand new. Self-catering was easy as we’d picked up local produce on our travels from Hobart and made the stay extra special. We cooked our dinners outside on the fire. Easy drive to Cradle Mountain visitor centre to catch the shuttle.

Everything was very well kept and had beautiful views. Close to lots of activities around Cradle Mountain.

We found the mattress to be quite uncomfortable.

We loved the location! It was so private, quiet, easy to find and surrounded by forest. We were lucky to have experienced snow which made it extra special. The amenities were very new and modern. The shower was so good with plenty of hot water. The kitchen appliances were adequate (no microwave) but had a great little gas stove/oven and the fridge was a good size. We were very warm and comfortable for 3 nights. We were able to connect Netflix with no issues and WiFi was great. We never got to use the firepit but it would be excellent in autumn. There is a huge supply of timber rounds and BBQ equipment in the shed. Cradle Mountain NP is only a short drive. We loved our stay in the Pepperberry cabin.

There were a couple of things we weren't fussed on but only minor. The bedroom loft is quite challenging as the steps are very steep and narrow. You need to be agile and prepared not to be able to sit up in bed. If you need to frequent the toilet at night I would not recommend this accommodation if you have mobility issues. If you are a light sleeper and sensitive to sound, I recommend you take ear plugs as the diesel heater makes a constant "heartbeat " sound all night. I think there also needs to be an awning over the deck. It's very exposed to the weather and an issue when entering the cabin with all your gear. I would also suggest taking a collapsible clothes airer to hang your towels, wet clothes (we had snow)... there is very little hanging hooks ....
