Stylish, comfortable and very well located close to Vondel Park and Museumplein. A nice little verandah terrace. Easy to access by tram from Amsterdam Centraal.

The stairs to get to the apartment are extremely steep and twisting.

The property was in an excellent location, close to a grocery store, restaurants, and the transit system. The neighborhood felt safe and we had no problems walking everywhere we went.
The property is beautiful and updated. The problem is the accommodations are not what they should be. While we were in Amsterdam, the temperatures were in the 90°F (32 degrees C) and the apartment has no air conditioning. Also, there was no functioning stove which we were expecting to cook our breakfast in the morning. And no microwave. The bathroom needed brighter lighting, and overall the light switches were a bit confusing to use.
All that being said, Frank is a gracious host and he did his best to accommodate us. He provided a fan, which unfortunately did little but better than nothing. And an egg boiler so we could have hard-boiled eggs for breakfast. It is a beautiful apartment, it just wasn’t the right place for us.
