Amadi Park Hotel

The room was easily accessible by lift. The size was appropriate for our needs as we were out most of the day. The location is ok if you don't like to walk to places as a tram could be caught to get to the station and around the city. Good location for just walking around town, Close to cafes, bars and supermarkets. The beds were comfortable and the staff was accommodating.

The hotel is shared by other "hotels". It does have a secure door, but access to the facility can be reached through other areas. The downstairs foyer could look cleaner.

The location was great! The room was lovely and so was the bathroom.

The room was incredibly hot, I don't think the air conditioning was working properly and for some reason the wardrobe was boiling hot? Almost like a boiler cupboard. There's no windows only a balcony door, so there's no air flow at night as you can't leave the doors open due to the shared balcony. We were told check out was at 12, however our room key stopped working after 10:30, and was told by the cleaner that they stop working at 10:30, very inconvenient as we then had to find someone to let us into the room.

The location was the main reason I choose the hotel. It is close to tram connections to every part of Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We will certainly be back.

The room we had (212) was very dark. Due to the strange layout the main window was obscured by the wardrobe. And because the openable window was at a public thoroughfare we couldn't leave it open to get some fresh air in overnight. Will certainly specify another room when we return.

after returning home I noticed bites along my rib cage that progressively worsened, realised this was due to bed bug bites. I did not feel uncomfortable during the stay however leaving and having to deal with this has made me very disappointed
