Bijou Suites Serenity

Spacious and well located flat. We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it. Everything is easy to reach by foot: metro, market, a lot of convenience stores, etc It has a washing machine and no dryer, but you have a balcony where you can hang dry your stuff.

Everything was so clean and accommodating with loads of space. Kurmon market, dontonnori and namba central is so close by. Connivence stores near by along with loads of restaurants. Host was really helpful too

The size of the room and location of the property was good.

Upon our arrival, the room stank of cigarettes. It was a non smoking room and I contacted the property via Booking.com chat. I was told that their cleaners would have notified them if there was any cigarette/smoke smell. I was told to find an air freshener which was located in the bathroom. We are non smokers and the smell permeated EVERYTHING. We even tried opening up the balcony door to air out the room but it didn’t change the smell, even the walls stank. It was so awful that when we finally got home to Australia, we had to wash every item that was packed and leave our suitcases and bags outside for several days to remove the stench. There was also a hanging light between the bed and the bathroom that was at head height for both of us. We hit our heads many times on it.
