Bijou Suites Serenity

El apartamento es un sueño. Es enorme y tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar unos días en Osaka. También cuenta con cocina, frigorífico, y muchos detalles que probablemente ni llegues a usar porque en Osaka merece mucho la pena comer en la calle. La comunicación con el propietario ha sido muy correcta. La cama cómoda aunque para los europeos se nos hace raro dormir como pareja en dos camas y caernos por el medio si te quieres acercar jejeje. El tener lavadora, con el calor que hace en Japón en verano es un punto ya que nos hemos llevado lo usado estos días limpio y además, nos dejó unas cápsulas que olían a manzana super bien. La ubicación es muy buena. Cerca de Dotombori y nada ruidoso a la vez. Supermercado en frente y tiendas de conveniencia al lado. Es la primera vez que creo que las fotos hacen justicia a la realidad.

La compañía de avión nos rompió una maleta y en Japón no se puede tirar a la basura ya que se considera residuo grande. Lo comentamos y nos cobraban 3.300 Y por deshacerse de ella. Entiendo que es problema mío, pero quizás deberían tener en cuenta este tipo de soluciones para que el turista pueda respetar las normas sin perder dinero. En Miyahima el señor del hotel nos ayudó gratis. Menos mal, ya que tuvimos que comprar una maleta más grande y meterla dentro, ya que no tenía ruedas.

would love for them to change to a more solid/ better pillow. The pillows were not good and we kept waking up with sore necks

The size of the room and location of the property was good.

Upon our arrival, the room stank of cigarettes. It was a non smoking room and I contacted the property via Booking.com chat. I was told that their cleaners would have notified them if there was any cigarette/smoke smell. I was told to find an air freshener which was located in the bathroom. We are non smokers and the smell permeated EVERYTHING. We even tried opening up the balcony door to air out the room but it didn’t change the smell, even the walls stank. It was so awful that when we finally got home to Australia, we had to wash every item that was packed and leave our suitcases and bags outside for several days to remove the stench. There was also a hanging light between the bed and the bathroom that was at head height for both of us. We hit our heads many times on it.
