Host was very helpful with check in, power outage and also with late check out. The property is not far from Dotonburi…about 15 mins walk. Close to public train stations and 7-11 is about 2 mins away. Loved all the facilities in the unit, felt very secure. Has air conditioning and small kitchen with refrigerator, kettle, microwave and washing machine.

Lack of English speaking tv channel which was difficult for us. During our visit in Osaka, there was a double typhoon looming and we had difficulty trying to get replicable news coverage on the weather and risks. Also the toilet needs improvement. Clean and functional but the tank was very slow to refill. Not a complaint but matter to note: if you use kettle at same time as microwave, it triggers a power outage. We were stunned one late night when the power went out. A quick message to the host who replied very promptly sorted things out. But they did not advise why we had the outage. We discovered the cause the next day, by accident when again a power outage was tripped.

The rooms were very spacious, beds were comfortable and the place was clean. We liked that the kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery and cookware. Happy to have a laundry/washing machine too! Towels and linens were all provided and basically it was self serve but we had everything we needed. The location was the best part, as it is close to shopping and food, yet still tucked away in a quiet area.

The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, but it did not affect the apartment. The tap water is initially very hot, so we learned to let it run a bit first.
