Convenient and close to everything.

The location was amazing and I loved the courtyard with the pool. It was easy to gain access with the codes received. We had privacy and were able to store belongings after checkout. Overall our stay was wonderful.

The rooms are smaller than expected and the price seems very steep for the room size and age/condition of property. It may have been due to last minute booking or very busy season but compared to the airbnb my friends had for half price it left a lot to be desired.

The location was great! Could walk everywhere. The pool area was nice and peaceful.

The room was tiny. Had to turn sideways to pass my husband. No storage or hanging for clothes. No hooks in bathroom. Hole in bathroom ceiling. Toilet paper holder about to fall off. Ventilation fan doesn’t work AC in unit is awful. Either freezing or hot. Ceiling fan/light operates on its own. Overhead light came on multiple times in the middle of the night every night. Fan also operated independently. Very noisy from the street. Every morning we found the locked entrance door from the street not closed properly so anyone could walk in. Our room was right at the entrance. Door to our unit was flimsy and could see light around all sides of the door illuminating our room. Linens were beat up.

Easy access to get in and out.

Had issue with the ceiling fan. Had trouble with the air conditioner until we were told it was connected to another room. That room was in control of the unit.

In the heart of key west but overpriced for the value

Good location

Exceptionally small rooms, windows dont open as they are overpainted, windows facing directly the boardwalk which is creepy, as the house is situated 1 feet of the boardwalk. No Glas cups to heat water in microwave.

Best deal you can find in the Keys

I love the balcony view of the city, it's near a paid parking lot and the Hemingway House

Key West is a busy loud town no matter where you stay. But I was able to sleep soundly in spite of it and that's just something you accept when you come to Key West. But don't worry, it's beautiful here 😉

Great, comfortable stay

Enjoyed the location, just an easy 10-15 min walk to Duval Street, bed was comfy, rooms were spacious, and the hosts were very kind and accommodating.

No complaints really! I wish there was parking, but I understand that's very hard to offer in Key West, and the hosts did give us tips on where to park. We also normally wouldn't have a car in Key West, but we just so happened to this time so it's kind of on us.

With the stressful situation, it did offer quiet and peace to regroup and organize. Very lovely.

The location was downtown Key West close to everything. I was there for a family emergency and was close to where I needed to be. Friendly people and workers, very kind and lovely. A cuban coffee shop deli just around the corner without getting too much in the busy Duval goings on. I will stay again when I have to return for more family business.

The pool was not available the first 2 nights I stayed and wish they would have confirmed that online before booking but I did get a discount since that was the reason for picking this location. For the stress relief of a lovely pool. It is lovely and so happy we stayed another 2 nights.

Comfortable

Very close to everything—Duval Street, the Southernmost Point, and Mallory Square. Great restaurants nearby. The place was very clean, and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the lack of a closet or hanging space in the room.

A great location!

The location was excellent, and the pool was quiet. It was nice that there was a microwave and fridge in the room, since some places nearby didn’t offer that. The room stayed cool and was also very dark with the shades closed.

The room needed updating; the TV was quite old, the fridge had peeling plastic in it, and there were some stains on the walls.

Over promised way under delivered and over priced

It was in a good part of the key

It was not as advertised with regard to size and amenities. We asked for an early check in several times and did not get a room until 3 pm regular check in and the room Given was 90% smaller than stated and had no toiletries or toilet paper or hangars or a wardrobe for clothes. They would not answer the phone when I called so I called booking and they would not respond to them either that day. I had to go to the service room to get toilet paper. The next day we were asked if we wanted a new room and then told we had to leave our stuff out of the given room Until the other one was available. The new room was a bit larger and had a hanging shelf/ there are no shelves in the shower, only 3 towels and one roll of toilet paper. This is all fine on a budget but the room was $590 a night booked 3 mos in advance.

Cozy, excellent location

The location of this property was amazing. 1st time in key west and we were so lucky to find this place. Was able to walk or bike to everything we wanted to do. The pool is so nice, soaked our tired feet at the end of each night so relaxing!

I didn’t mind but the room is on the small side so if your coming to town with a bunch of bags this might not be the place for you but we had a bag each and thought it was cozy and perfect for crashing out at night.

Lovely place in that perfect magic zone, just close enough to all the action to walk there in under 5 minutes but far enough away to be quiet and tranquil at night. Loved the charm of the whole place and the pool area is lovely! Would 100% stay again!

Bare minimum, disappointing

Location for walking but noisy at night with trucks on Thomas St.

Disappointing. What was advertised was not what we found. Our first room was maybe 10x10. Had a bed, one bedside table, fridge & microwave. Nowhere to put clothes. Not my idea of a " 1 bedroom apartment". They did accommodate us with a room change, maybe 12x12 but with 2 bedside tables and a place to hang clothes. **No coffee maker and no ice machine on site** Pool was small, clean, shaded. Lots of sloped floors - old building. They are trying but we have stayed elsewhere in KW for less with more amenities. Also didn't like that we were charged the FULL amount at the time of booking.

The location

The extremely squeaky bed with the slightest movement. The front door that was not a correct fit and had light coming through a space at the top of door and frame. The room we had was so close to the corner of Angela and Thomas that it felt we were sleeping on the street. Bathroom dooor were saloon doors.

Very cute and very clean. Love that it’s located right downtown close to everything and we were able to park right in front of our room all weekend. Beautiful pool and landscaping to relax by.

It was a little frustrating trying to figure out how to get into the property and although the cleaning girl was trying to be very helpful, she did not speak English and it made it very hard to communicate. It would be much better if there was a front desk with someone to speak to instead of texting. After we were in and settled though it was nice to just be able to text if we needed anything.

Relaxing and superb value!

The location was GREAT! We had bike rentals for our stay and we could easily bike to Duval and Fort Zachary. We could also walk to several wonderful restaurants. I loved that there was a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The pool was so pretty and relaxing. The closest beach was at Fort Zachary and it was beautiful, clear and seaweed free all week. Smathers Beach was very clear and had a lot more of the seaweed during the time of our stay.

There was not a coffee machine in the room nor an ice machine at the facility. The garbage trucks seemed to come down the street very early in the mornings a couple times through our stay. There were also multiple roosters on the street to get your morning going early.

Location was amazing, within 15 minutes of everything. Beds were super comfortable, for the price it was a nice room. Ac worked great I love it cold. The staff were absolutely amazing, very accommodating and easy to reach.

There were some issues the first night, ac and mini fridge leaking, plus the floor was a little dirty. We messaged staff and we had a new room the next day which was fantastic. I just wrote it off as everyone has bad days. It’s an older building and you have to be very quiet, the walls are thin. Additionally parking can be a pain, I suggest if you get lucky with a spot that’s close not to move your car. Everything is walkable.

Absolutely relaxing and unforgettable!

My wife and I had a fantastic time at The Tranquility Guest House. The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchenette had the perfect amount of room/equipment. The location was perfect, close to all the major attractions. We loved the beautiful decor and thoughtful amenities like the pool and the grounds were beautiful and extremely tranquil, which made our stay unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!

Good location but too cramped

Room was much smaller than i thought it would be making it cramped with nowhere to store clothes. The tv, was at the end of the bed, and the gap between bed and tv was approx 2 feet meaning that we had to bend down to get past to avoid bumping into the tv - not an easy task to do in the dark to get to the washroom. Good location and nice pool area but just too cramped for us.

Room Was extremely small, no room for luggage. Window unit ac drowned out tv. Tv was modified so volume could not be adjusted. Steps entering the building were not standard width thus making entry very treacherous
