Central locations and good sized rooms

We weren’t told that the hotel is right in the middle of a sports bar. So there was loud noise at night - and the noise of glasses being tipped into rubbish bins. And then early in the morning there was the loud noise of the glass bottles being collected by the rubbish men.

Relaxing good value hotel right in the center of Duval Street action

My room was great. It was very clean and well appointed. The light breakfast was just right to start the day. The staff were very professional and very friendly. The hotel is located right on Duval Street so I was right in the center of things.

The steps leading to my room were a little daunting, but since this is an old building it was totally understandable. The hotel also noted very clearly that this was the case as well.

My stay was comfortable, relaxing and very clean.

The Staff was always keeping the property clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average. The room was decorated nicely and the bathroom had personal items available for use. The Pool was small, but well maintained and had beautiful plants, surrounding it. There’s a Sundeck with lounge chairs, about 10 steps up from the pool. Friendly, helpful Staff in a very clean environment.

The NOISE and huge flight of concrete stairs leading to my Room, were awful. A Restaurant is connected to this hotel and it’s super LOUD at night, until about midnight. You are provided with Earplugs, on a table next to the bed. I’m 65 years old and struggled trying to get my luggage up to my Room. A Restaurant Guest ran to assist me!! Thank goodness! When I Checked Out a Staff Member carried my luggage downstairs.

Great stay at the Casablanca!

Clean - staff was very nice. It was quiet, the AC is a window unit but it worked perfectly and I sleep better with the low drone of the fan. It came with a complimentary breakfast of sorts - fruit, some pastries, yogurt, coffee and juice. The price was also great - our friends stayed across the road and our stay was $250 less, give or take, for the same number of days. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!!

It was only a little awkward walking through the restaurant outdoor seating that shares space on the way to the pool. Not big enough to change the review from a 10 to me tho!

The staff was great. They helped with night access, sent maintenance to fix the tv which went out with the storms (no fault of theirs) and were super kind for breakfast.

Old school hospitality at a charming hotel in the ideal location

From the first moment we arrived I was impressed with this hotel. The proprietor assisted me with my bag up the stairs to the room. She didn't need to do this and it was certainly not expected but was such a welcomed kindness. The continental breakfast was perfect and spot on. The rooms were well appointed and charming and had everything we needed. This is an absolutely darling property in the heart of Duval street. I will definitely be coming back to stay at this hotel.

It was lovely to receive breakfast for free. The croissants were very nice we especially enjoyed the coconut croissant. Staff were very helpful and lovely people.

Really not much. It would have been nice to have loungers by the pool there was just not enough room. We had heard it could be noisy, luckily for us there were no loud bars nearby during our stay.

Best getaway

Our 3rd time here and it doesn't disappoint. Free croissants, fruits and coffee. The pool is great and warm. The staff keep the place running smooth and will do anything you ask them. Rooms are comfortable and priced accordingly for key west.

The noise of the restaurant, air conditioner and ventilator in front of the room made sleep impossib

The room was large

The room overlooked the open air area of a restaurant that is attached to, but not owned or managed by the hotel. The noise of the restaurant could be heard until well after midnight. the room windows are not double glazed so voices could be easily heard in the room. In the wall in front of the room (some 10 metres away) was a large air conditioning unit as well as a very large ventilator for the kitchen of the restaurant. on the first of our two night stay these remained in use until 2am.. on the second night until 4am, making sleeping virtually impossible

We LOVED our stay at the Casablanca- from the staff, to the location, to the absolutely gorgeous rooms and views. We didn't have a single issue our whole stay - everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back here as soon as possible!!
