The morning baked goods tasted store bought not fresh baked. If it wasn't described in the welcome note as fresh baked then I would not have been disappointed

Great place to stay when you’re on a budget.

The room was extremely clean, and smelled like it was just attended. The room was a bit cozy, but nothing we couldn’t handle. AC was cold when we got there, that’s always a positive. Staff was very friendly and check in/check out was a breeze. It was across the street from Blue Heaven, and 2 blocks away from the Hemingway house.

The only thing is that it’s a couple of blocks further away from Duval, which we’re not really used to, but we like walking, so it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was pastries and yogurt, coffee, tea.

The balconies were so narrow they were practically useless as far as sitting at one of the tables.

The room size was approximately 100 ft.² not counting bathroom, unbelievably smaller than we expected. The key ticket in to the downstairs door and I was told by one of the workers and she was correct sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t and it works that way for us also, she was correct. Only one of the two keys worked.

A true slice of the Caribbean here in key west!

Everything!!!! I’m from the Caribbean (Barbados) and it reminded me a chattel house back home but newer and modern. The rooms are small but all you need, great location, check in was a breeze with the keys hanging on our door.

The place was beautiful! Very close to Duvall Street so it’s in walking distance to everything!

The room was incredibly small. King size bed took up the entire room. Some of the rooms had the bathroom sink actually in the bedroom no place for a chair or anywhere to sit except on the bed. Also the shower is so small that you could not turn around or wash without getting water all over the bathroom floor.

Other than the lights on at night, very enjoyable room, hospitality and location was perfect for us

Room was small but as the staff states, are "very cozy" which added to the charm. Room was well clean, color coordinated decor and the bed extremely comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as stress-free as possible.

Lights stay on for security reasons and the blinds do not keep light out so room did not get dark at night for sleep. Also, bathrooms are small and showers very tiny for larger people.

Perfect location & Island feel!

The property is super cute & clean and in a perfect location. Close to our favorite restaurant, the Blue Heaven ( literally down the block)! Very cosy & loved the intimate atmosphere in the backyard.

Close to Duval St and Ft Zachary Taylor Park/Beach. The location was close to all the hotspots but far enough away from the noise at night.

Don’t pass on this gem!

Everything from start to finish was wonderful! Staff were friendly, the complementary breakfast was great, the room was exceptionally clean, there was so much attention to detail, location was excellent, amenities were great. I would highly recommend this property.

Although it’s not the fault of the property, parking was extremely difficult. We reserved a spot, but it’s so narrow on the street, you really need a second person to help you get in and out of the spot. Also, if a spacious room is important to you, this property may not be right. Our room was very small, but very comfortable.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was great. After a day of walking everywhere, we rented the bikes. Had a great time riding around Old Key West.

We love Key West!

The house and the terrace have a wonderful Caribbean flair that make you feel excellent! The staff is very friendly and the location of the Caribbean House is excellent. You can reach every important place within a few minutes. We also liked that cold drinks are always available at a good price. A free public parking lot is located very close on Fort Street.

Our room was smaller than we thought. The owner knows about this problem and made extra space under the bed for the suitcases. Otherwise we would have had problems managing our luggage. It's nice that breakfast is included, but the selection is a bit small and can certainly be improved in the future. However, we really appreciated the free mimosas! Furthermore, breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m. This is very late in our opinion. Especially if you plan a boat trip, which often starts at 9 a.m., it is not possible to eat before. Therefore, breakfast from 7:30 a.m. would be much better.

Friendly staff. We had a missing key situation, the staff made it right within ten minutes even though outside of business hours. A+. Breakfast, though small, worked. It was convenient, tasty and became our starting point for our day.

The rooms are small, but are furnished very nicely. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was outside and would surely have been really nice, if it wasn't pouring rain, but that's the risk when you travel off season. The location was perfect. Duval St, Beach & everything in walking distance, but also quiet enough to have a restful night. We would totally recommend to stay here!
