A great place to stay in Key West because:
1. Location
It's one block off Duval in the heart of Old Town Key West. It's a reasonable walk to Mallory Square, the historic sea port, Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, and Southernmost Point Bouy (just not all at once). There are scores of restaurants, bars, and shops within a 2 block radius.
2. Outdoor space oasis
The Inn is two buildings with a pool and courtyard between them. The beautiful vegetation blocks out the surrounding buildings and provides shade from the sun. It creates a feeling of privacy in the midst of Key West.
The pool is not large but it's big enough to relax in. When I visited at the end of March, the temperature was warm enough that it didn't feel cold when you first got in and yet refreshing if you wanted to cool down from the hot sun.
There are plenty of chairs to relax and enjoy the views.
3. It's not crowded
Even if the place was fully booked, I think there are enough chairs on balconies, by the pool, etc., for everyone to have a spot. In reality, guests will be off doing things so it will not feel crowded.
4. Breakfast
Breakfast each day was convenient and enjoyable. It includes coffee and juice. It saves $40+ per couple compared to eating out. If I were rating breakfast by itself, I would give it 3 or 4 stars. Beware that there are limited options for breakfast each day. There's a featured item, yogurt and granola, and maybe oatmeal. I had the featured item every day.
5. The room met my needs
I spent very little time in the room. I was exploring Key West or sitting by the pool. The room had a comfy bed to sleep in and enough space to not feel crammed. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was spacious.
6. Other conveniences
- pool towels (I didn't ask if these could be used at the beach because I brought my own beach towels; I wish I would have asked before my trip)

Drawbacks
- my room was nice enough but didn't have a wow factor. If a pretty room is a must for you, then this may not be the right place for you
- humidity in my room was so high that clothes felt damp to the touch; I didn't notice the dampness once I wore them outside
- no parking for cars or golf carts. A minor drawback at most because the central location means things are within walking distance. There are bike racks if you choose to rent bikes. Lastly, it's easy to catch a lyft.
Toss up - The Green Parrot
The Green Parrot is next door. That's very convenient. The bar may also be loud. I stayed in a room on the first floor in the building closer to the Green Parrot. I never heard noise from the bar while inside my room. I took ear plugs and never used them. Even by the pool in the evening I didn't hear loud noise from the bar.

The room was big and we liked the private porch. Also had a heated pool.
Our room was next to the Green Parrot Bar and it was difficult sleeping until the band ended.
The gentlemen that cooks the breakfast is not a people person to put it politely.

Super cute boutique hotel with a great pool, ice and water machine in a great location. Room was small, but comfortable. Bathroom was a good sized with toiletries. Pool was beautiful, super cute covered chairs built under the porch. We booked the breakfast option, the food was good. Staff were friendly and instructions were clear.

The location is great . It’s a small property but over all well kept. The downfall is the Green Parrot bar is just two doors down and creates a lot of late night noise. The front office people were amazing.
The “cook” who made the complimentary breakfast, had a really angry disposition. He was extremely burdened by every task, and was just down right rude.
